Question asked was if I have strength to make up my ramadhan fast is missed previously and I did not make it up till the next ramadhan, should I fast the previous ramadhan or the new one?

 Question asked was if I have strength to make up my ramadhan fast is missed previously and I did not make it up till the next ramadhan, should I fast the previous ramadhan or the new one?


Alhamdulillah, it is not permissible to delay making up the ramadhan fast without any reason and it is a great sin to do that 

One should immediately try and make up his missed ramadhan fast.

Also if one does not make the ramadhan fast and another comes, he has to fast the month of Ramadhan with the intention of the one he missed and after that he makes it up the number he will miss for the new one.

Except if one has no hope of making it due to sickness or some health issues, he is to feed each day the poor with a staple of food like rice or any food which is eaten.
