*_WHY DATING THE NON ISLAMIC WAY IS HARAAM (Forbidden/Unlawful) In Islam_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem. 


Most people justify dating with the notion that they just want to know each other better before they can marry. Islam believes that anything that can cause people to sin should be avoided before a person falls into temptation and it is so with dating. 


The following are some of the reasons why dating is haram in Islam:


First, those dating start their date at a time when they're not really ready and well prepared to enter into marriage (e.g. students dating secretly or openly while in school). They are exposed to many temptations that normally end in disappointment and separation, which is against the ethics of Islam.


Those dating usually meet alone in a secret place and it is where most romantic affairs starts as the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) have warn us on that in a hadith saying (whenever a man and a woman are alone in a place shaytan is the third). He would persuade them to gaze at ease other lustfully, which often cause them into temptation. And ALLAH Azzawajal commanded us to lower our gaze in Qur'an 24:30. Alhamdulillah, Allah says, Al-Jumu'ah 62:9 يَآأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade.
