 The dignity of Dua of a mother.

Alhamdulillah, one story I want to share is the story of the mother and her son about supplication.

There lived a child who was very stubborn and truant and does not pray.

This mother was worried as every day complains will come to her about her son.

She tried every means to change the child but could never.

So she said let me tell my worries to Allah alone.

She started the night prayers and continue for many years yet the child kept being stubborn.

One-day the child was going to steal and on his way, he came across what he wanted and then took it.

As he took it and was walking, he saw that thing he stole was being searched on the way. And anyone who is caught is punished to death.

So he was confused where to hid it.

Then it reached to his turn as he was searched but they could not find it. He was trembling and then he passed.

He was amazed and started to look for it but it was not with him.

Being amazed he said how come.

He walked further and then said to himself, what if I was caught and what will be my fate by now?

Isn't it time for me to turn away from this life. For many years I engaged in this but had nothing from it.

He went home and saw his mother praying. he looked at her and said if today I was caught what will my mother do?

He gave up and changed and became a better person.

Lesson is no matter what situation our child is, let's not lose hope to make Dua for the child.

Guidance is for Allah not us.
