 Friday and it's dignity.

Alhamdulillah, Friday is a great day in Islam.

Allah says,

O ye who believe! When the call of prayer is called for the Friday, run for the remembrance of Allah and leave thy business, that is better for thee but if ye knew.

Surah jumu'ah vrs 9.


Friday is a great day and the day Allah s.w.t created Adam, it was the day Adam entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise, it was the day he died and the hour shall not come except on this day.

Sahiih.


Friday is a sabbath and eid day for all muslims.

As Allah gave it to the Jews and Christians but they differed and it was given to the Muslims.

As reported in hadith,

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah r.a saying,

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) saying, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection though the former nations were given the Holy Scriptures before us. And this was their day (Friday) the celebration of which was made compulsory for them but they differed about it. So Allah gave us the guidance for it (Friday) and all the other people are behind us in this respect: the Jews' (holy day is tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) and the Christians' (is) the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday)."

Sahih al-Bukhari 876.


And Friday has some Sunnan acts to be done.

Bathing ghusl

Chewing siwak

Wearing best cloth of the week

Sending alot of salawat to rasulullah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam

Attending to jumu'ah prayer early.

Praying a lot of nawafil

Listening to the imam

Praying four nawafil prayer after jumu'ah 

Reciting surah kahf

Making a lot of nawafil before sun falls.

اللهم صل علي محمد كمآ صليت علي ابراهيم وآل ابراهيم انك حميد مجيد.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
