CO-WIVES SHOULD LIVE LIKE MUSLIM SISTERS TO THEIR HUSBAND NOT AS RIVALS

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 25th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Sunday, 16th November, 2025.

*_CO-WIVES SHOULD LIVE LIKE MUSLIM SISTERS TO THEIR HUSBAND NOT AS RIVALS_*. BismilLah.

Undoubtedly, marrying more than one wife is a blessings and it's sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam so let's embrace it with fear of ALLAH Azzawajal. ALLAH Azzawajal doesn't permit anything bad so to see polygamy as bad or disliked is like saying to ALLAH, you permitted the wrong thing which no one will dare to say so let's strive for it only if we can fulfil it's obligations. Go for it without any fear if you've got good intentions. If you can't afford then maintain the one sincerely seeking ALLAH'S blessings but if you can manage two very well financially and fairly with fear of ALLAH Azzawajal then go for it brother.

The bond that governed the relationships between the wives of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was the bond of spiritual sisterhood and love for the sake of ALLAH Azzawajal. This is the basic principle that should unite all the believers in general. To that may be added their closeness to the light of Prophethood, as they all lived in the place where the revelation and the message of ALLAH came down. Therefore piety and fear of ALLAH Azzawajal was what protected them from slipping into error and enabled them to think maturely at times of turmoil, when faced with difficult tests.

The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) called co-wives sisters. Narrated in Saheeh Muslim (1408) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “A woman should not ask for her sister to be divorced so as to deprive her of what is rightfully hers and so that she may be married in her stead; rather she will have what ALLAH has decreed for her.”.

So how about sisters who were the wives of the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him)? Piety and fear of ALLAH formed the solid foundation that overcame the natural inclinations and jealousy of women and their competition for one husband. The Shaytaan had no hopes of causing any troubles in the household of the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) and they were far above such a thing, for they were pure and purified with very tiny natural form of jealousy to each other which doesn't cause any ill feelings to each of them.

Our mother ‘Aa’ishah (may ALLAH be pleased with her) said in the hadith of al-ifk (the slander): The Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) asked Zaynab bint Jahsh about me: “O Zaynab, what do you know, and what have you seen?” She said: O Messenger of ALLAH, I would not claim to have heard or seen something that I did not, and by ALLAH, I do not know anything but good. Our mum ‘Aa’ishah may ALLAH be please her said: She was the one among the wives of the Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) who used to compete with me, but ALLAH protected her by means of her piety Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2661) and Muslim (2770). No brother or sister is faultless as such if you want her to be like our Beloved Aaishah then be like our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal aid our sisters to see each other as sisters of the deen and protect all our marriages from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
