*_SUMMARY OF SURAH AL-KAHF (Qur’an Chapter 18) WITH LESSONS AND REFLECTIONS_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem. 


Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah brothers and sisters and faith. Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. We are know the importance of this day and the recommendation by our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam. Let's remind ourselves with the summary of stories surah and some lessons from it to aid our eemaan or faith. 


Surah Al-Kahf contains four major stories:


1. The People of the Cave (Ashab al-Kahf)

A group of young believers fled their city to protect their faith from a tyrant ruler. ALLAH AzzaWajallah caused them to sleep for many years and woke them as a sign of HIS power.


Lessons: Lets hold firmly to our faith even when society is pushing the opposite direction. The Youth had special strength when they relied on ALLAH AzzaWajallah. ALLAH protects those who trust HIM.

The world will always test belief, but patience brings victory.


2. The Owner of the Two Gardens: A wealthy man became arrogant because of his gardens and denied the Hereafter. ALLAH AzzaWajallah destroyed what he had, showing that worldly wealth is temporary.

Lessons: Never be proud of wealth, health, or success as everything is from ALLAH AzzaWallah. Gratitude protects blessings; arrogance destroys them. True richness is faith, not property.  One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.
