بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم

Think of being in a deep, dark ocean. A giant fish has swallowed you. There is no light. No way out. This is what happened to Prophet Yunus.

But Allah saved him.

Why?

The Qur'an tells us it was because Yunus (A.S) was always connected to Allah.

"And had he not been of those who regularly exalt Allāh, He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 📚As-Saffat 37:143-144

You see!

Allah (swt) says if Yunus had not done this, he would have stayed inside that fish until the end of the world.

This story is a powerful message for you and me.

Our lives can feel like that dark ocean. We have sadness, sickness, and worries that feel like they are swallowing us.

What is our way out?

What is our rescue?

*The Qur'an is our rescue*.

Yes.

Remembering Allah (swt) by reading the Qur'an and listening to its beautiful audio regularly is our lifeline. It is the strong rope that Allah throws to us to pull us from any darkness.

This is not just a story. It is a strong proof that we must hold onto the Qur'an, every single day, until the last day we breathe on this Earth.

Now,

For those who are troubled in one way or the other and asking Allah for a cure, the Qur'an is the best medicine. But you must use it correctly. Yes. Here are some hard truths you must know:

(1) You Cannot Mix the Cure with Poison.

If a doctor gives you medicine, you do not mix it with dirty water. You use clean water. It is the same with the Qur'an. You cannot be listening to music and then listen to a little Qur'an and expect a quick or full healing. Yes. Music is like dirty water for your soul. To get the full benefit, you must give your ears and heart only to the pure words of Allah. It is the clean water that washes your soul.

(2) Healing Comes Faster to the Obedient.

Think of your connection to Allah like a pipe. Sinful acts are like rust and dirt blocking the pipe. When the pipe is clean, water (Allah's mercy and healing) flows quickly. When you stop the bad deeds you know are wrong, you clean the pipe. Your prayers and Qur'an reading and listening become more powerful, and healing can come faster.

(3) Be Patient. Allah is Testing Your Sincerity.

Sometimes, you read and listen to the Qur'an for many days, but your problem remains. Why?

Allah (swt) is not ignoring you. HE is testing you. HE wants to see if you are a reliable servant.

Think about it: if a child gets a gift as soon as he asks, he might stop being good. He was only good to get the gift.

Allah (swt) knows some people will stop reading the Qur'an if they get what they want too fast. So, HE may delay your success to see if your love for HIM is real. HE wants to see if you will keep going, even if the reward is slow or delayed.

Do not give up. Show Allah (swt) that you are a true and reliable servant. Show HIM that you will hold onto the Qur'an no matter what.

My People,

Qur'an is your personal rescue, just like it was for Prophet Yunus (A.S). And you don't need to understand the meaning of what you are reading or listening. You just need to listen and read. Let the Qur'an do the work.

Let the Qur'an audio play in your house from the time you go to bed till Fajr prayer time.

To be continued...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
