FAJR REMINDER: BE A TRUE MUSLIM!

One shouldn't be surprised by the misconduct of non-Muslims, as their lack of belief in Islām often outweighs any moral shortcomings they may display. However, it becomes a significant concern when a Muslim engages in wrongful behavior.
According to the moral teachings found in both the Qur'ān and the Sunnah, as conveyed by our righteous predecessors and respected scholars today, there is a pressing issue when Muslims behave inappropriately. Regrettably, some individuals identify as Muslims with names and appearances reflecting Islām, yet they lack a genuine comprehension of its principles.
Unfortunately, we witness some Muslims indulging in behaviors such as backbiting, suspicion, spying, defamation, and insults toward others. This is particularly disheartening when even scholars of the Deen are not spared from such treatment. What do they hope to achieve through these actions?
Allāh warns us: “O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group; it may be that the latter are better than the former; nor let (some) women scoff at other women; it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nickname. How bad is it to insult one’s brother after having Faith [i.e., to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer)]? And whoever does not repent, then such are indeed Ẓālimūn (wrongdoers, etc.). O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed, some suspicion is a sin. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah…” [Sūrah Al-Ḥujrāt (49): 11-12]
Let us be mindful of our speech and strive to speak only words of goodness.
I beseech Allāh to forgive our shortcomings and bless us with goodness. Aameen.
