These cases ranges from when a partner get mad, stop praying, the wife abuse the husband's parents, commit adultery, etc. However, if after committing these sins, the partner still love the other there's no wrong in their reconciliation. A Sahaba once complained to Prophet that his wove feel has committed zinna, for which Prophet advised him to divorce her. He then came back confessing he still love her for which Prophet advised him to keep her in company. From the hadith we can understand that we shouldn't prevent our former wives from marrying other men when their *idda* elapses.

We can also conclude from the verse that, we are not to be a standing block to them when they intend to remarry their former husbands. They are also permitted not to marry them but other men if they do wish. However they can remarry their divorced husband after divorcing them thrice only aftee consuming marriage with a man. Abdul Rahman a son of Abu Baqar Said (r.t.a) married A’tika but was forced to divorce her due to one or two reasons.

Prophet intervened and they came back together only for him to soon die in a battle. She vowed never to remarry but Umar convinced her and married her during his reign. Umar was later assasinated for which she got married to Zubair. He was also killed in Battle of Camel for which Alî proposed to her. She declined for her reason being that Ali too will be killed as her former husbands. Ali will later got killed too. Hassan bun Ali then proposed to her for which she accepted. Unsurprisingly he also met the same faith as he was killed too. That’s an interesting story of A’tika.

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                              *[34:23] Saba-

And no intercession with His presence will be of any benefit except from someone He has granted permission, until when fright is removed from their hearts and they will say, (inquiring): ‘What has your Lord said?’ They will say (in reply): ‘He has said the truth,’ (i.e., has granted the permission). And He alone is Most High, Most Great.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 223:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "When Allah has ordained some affair in the Heaven, the angels beat with their wings in obedience to His statement, which sounds like a chain dragged over a rock." ('Ali and other sub-narrators said, "The sound reaches them.") "Until when fear is banished from their (angels) hearts, they (angels) say, 'What was it that your Lord said? They say, 'The truth; And He is the Most High, the Most Great.' (34.23) Then those who gain a hearing by stealing (i.e. devils) will hear Allah's Statement:-- 'Those who gain a hearing by stealing, (stand one over the other like this).

(Sufyan, to illustrate this, spread the fingers of his right hand and placed them one over the other horizontally.) A flame may overtake and burn the eavesdropper before conveying the news to the one below him; or it may not overtake him till he has conveyed it to the one below him, who in his turn, conveys it to the one below him, and so on till they convey the news to the earth.

(Or probably Sufyan said, "Till the news reaches the earth.") Then the news is inspired to a sorcerer who would add a hundred lies to it. His prophecy will prove true (as far as the heavenly news is concerned). The people will say. 'Didn't he tell us that on such-and-such a day, such-and-such a thing will happen? We have found that is true because of the true news heard from heaven."

When Allah has ordained some affairs in the heaven, the Angels beat their wings in obedience to his statement, which sound like a chain dragged over a rock. When the fear has banished from their hearts, they asked what's the Lord has said. They then told them that Allah has said the nothing but the truth. That's what the verse is meant. The Hadith continued by illustrating how the news spread from one to the other Angel. They convey the news to one another till it reach the earth and then the to the Sucerer.

He will add a hundred lies to it. These sucerers have nothing to offer us but lies to cause division in us. Once in a million their prophesy(news) comes to pass, we tend to rally behind them and believe all that they told us. Visiting them is prohibited in Islam in the first place not to even talk of  believing in them. We know what happened to the soothsayer who predicted that Prophet and Abu Baqar were hinding in a particular place. The people killed him because they didn’t believe him. We should only depend on Allah solely because he created the world and is the best person to avert any calamity from us. No soothsayer or magician can do so because they can’t even help themselves.

*Let's continue on this verse* 👇.                                         *[2:223] Al-Baqarah-

Your wives are for you like a harvest-producing field. So, go to your field as you may desire. And manage some provisions for yourselves for the next world. Inculcate in yourselves the fear of Allah, and be mindful that you shall appear before Him. And, (O Beloved,) give good news to the believers (that their appearance before Allah will be gainful for them).

Narrated Jabir:

Jews used to say: "If one has sexual intercourse with his wife from the back, then she will deliver a squint-eyed child." So this Verse was revealed:--

"Your wives are a tilth unto you; so go to your tilth when or how you will." (2.223)

Islam as I use to say came as relief for us. There was a myth that when one had an intercourse from the back(through the vagina) of their wife, they will deliver a squint-eyed child. It was then that this verse was revealed refuting that. We are permitted to go to them in any means provided it is through the prescribed place. Every style is encouraged provided it is done through the birth canal. However we are prohibited from having intercourse with them through their anus. Anal sex is what Islam prohibit. How on Earth should one refuse to enter a woman through the proposed spot?.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
