 *A POEM ON THE VIRTUE OF SENDING BLESSINGS UPON THE PROPHET ﷺ*

*إِذَا مَا شِئْتَ فِي الدَّارَيْنِ تَسْعَدُ ۞ فَكَثِّرْ بِالصَّلَاةَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدْ*

*If you desire happiness in both worlds, then frequently send blessings upon Muhammad.*

*وَإِنْ صَلَّيْتَ فَابْغِ الْأجْرَ فِيها ۞ وَشَفَّعْ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدْ*

*And if you pray seeking reward therein, then enhance it by sending blessings upon Muhammad.*

*وَإِنْ شِئْتِ الْقُبُولَ لَهَا يَقِينًا ۞ فَتَحْتِمُ بِالصَّلَاةَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدْ*

*If you desire its acceptance (i.e., your prayers) with certainty, make sure to seal them by sending blessings upon Muhammad.*

*وَفِعْلُكَ كُلُّهُ عُقْبَاهُ خَيْرٌ  ۞ إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ فِيهِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدْ*

*The outcome of all your deeds will be goodness, if you send blessings upon Muhammad in them.*

*وَقُمْ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَادْعُ اللهَ وَارْغَبْ ۞ لِرَبِّكَ بالصَّلاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدْ*

*Stand in the night, call upon ALLĀH, and long for your Lord through sending blessings upon Muhammad.*

*وَقُلْ يَا رَبِّ لا تَقْطَعْ رَجائِي ۞ وَكُنْ لِي بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدْ*

*Say, "O my Lord, do not sever my hope, and be there for me by the virtue of my sending of blessings upon Muhammad."*
