*O Believers (obedience to Allah).*
Obedience to Allah starts with obedience to those He honored — your parents.
Treat them with kindness, respect, and patience — even when it’s hard.
Allah says:
*“And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.”*
[Qur’an 31:14]
The Prophet ο·Ί said:
*“The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the parents, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the parents.”*
[Tirmidhi]
Obedience doesn’t mean blind agreement — it means:
- Speaking gently
- Honoring them in words and actions
- Caring for them in their old age
- Making dua for them constantly
Even a small act of kindness toward them can open doors to immense reward.
*Ya Allah,*
Make us dutiful to our parents.
Grant them health, mercy, and forgiveness.
Let us never neglect their rights in our lives.
