DAJJĀL AND THE TRIAL OF AUTHORITY

FAJR REMINDER: DAJJĀL AND THE TRIAL OF AUTHORITY

By: Umm Affan

Jumādā al-Ākhirah 7, 1447 (28-November-2025)

Towards the end of time, the Dajjāl will rise from a region in the East known as Khurāsān, among the Jews of Iṣfahān. Abū Bakr Aṣ-Ṣiddīq (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) informed us: “The Dajjāl will emerge from a land in the East called Khurāsān.” [Sunan At-Tirmidhī 2237] In a different narration, Fāṭimah Bint Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) remarked about the Dajjāl: “He is in the Syrian sea or the Yemeni sea: No, on the contrary, it is towards the East that he is. (He said it twice and pointed his hand to the East).” [Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4326]

Most of Dajjāl's followers will come from groups such as the Jews, Persians, and Turks, along with a blend of other individuals, primarily Bedouins and women. The affiliation of Bedouins with Dajjāl can be attributed to a significant level of ignorance among many of them. As for women, they may be easily influenced, and ignorance also plays a role.

Ibn ‘Umar (Raḍiyallāhu Anhuma) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The Dajjāl will come to this pond in Marriqanāt—a valley in Madīnah—and most of those who go out to him will be women, to the extent that a man will return to his wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt to confine them tightly, fearing they might go out to him.” [Musnad Aḥmad 5353]

Allāh will grant Dajjāl the capability to traverse the earth, except for certain locations. In the narration by Fāṭimah Bint Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha), the Prophet (ﷺ) stated: “(He [i.e. Dajjāl] will say): ‘I almost have permission to emerge. Then I will emerge and will travel throughout the earth for forty days. I shall not leave any town without entering it, except for Makkah and Madīnah, which I will be prevented from entering because every time I attempt to enter, there will be an angel with an unsheathed sword in his hand, forbidding me to enter. At every gate, there will be angels guarding them.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2942]

Furthermore, it has been reported that Dajjāl will not enter four Masājid: Masjid Al‐Ḥarām (located in Makkah), Masjid An-Nabawī (in Madīnah), the Mosque of Sinai (in Egypt), and Masjid Al‐Aqsa (in Jerusalem).

I beseech Allāh to protect us from the trials of Dajjāl. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

BELIEF IN PRE-DECREE (al-Qadar) CREATES PEACE IN OUR HEART continues

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 26th day of Swafar 1447AH, Wednesday, 20th August 2025. *_BELIEF IN PRE-DECREE (al-Qadar) CREATES PEACE IN OUR HEART continues_*. BismilLah.  For the past few days, we have been reminding ourselves that calamities in our lives can also be blessings in disguise. Let's continue with some of the wisdom behind calamities:  10. Another reason behind calamities and hardship is that a person becomes able to distinguish between true friends and friends who only have their own interests at heart. You may be so close to a colleague but wait for a calamity to you to see his or her real nature.  11. Calamities remind us of our sins so that we can repent from them.  ALLAH Azzawajal says:  “Whatever of good reaches you, is from ALLAH, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself” [al-Nisa’ 4:79]. “And whatever misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much” [al-Shoora 42:30]. Calamitie...
