About Ḥajj, it is evident that this noble act of worship was prescribed long before the advent of Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ). Throughout the ages, pilgrims from every corner of the world and from all walks of life have journeyed to the Sacred House, seeking the Pleasure of Allāh, the Most High. In doing so, they follow the blessed path of Prophet Ibrāhīm and his patient and forbearing son, Ismā‘īl (‘Alayhimā Salām).  *Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 2 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم As Muslims, do not think that only swalah, fasting matter. Yes. For those who read the story of Abu Nasr in our previous episode of the write-up, we have seen that Abu Nasr was a very poor man who gave away his only bread to a hungry child. And he dreamt that it was that one small piece of bread that tipped his scale on the day of judgment. This teaches us that no good deed is ever too small. Never ignore a chance to help, even if it is you think it will push you to discomfort. My People, Always strive to be generous, even when you have almost nothing. Abu Nasr was so poor he could not feed his own family, yet when he saw a crying mother and child, he did not turn away. He gave them his only food. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Verse 15. يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ "They will enter and burn therein on the Day of Recompense (Judgment)." Commentary: After stating that the wicked (Al-Fujjār) will be in Hellfire, ALLAH Azzawajal explains when this punishment will occur: يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ "They will enter and burn therein on the Day of Recompense." The word يَصْلَوْنَهَا (Yaṣlawnahā) means: They will enter it. They will be exposed to its intense heat. They will suffer its punishment. This is not a temporary encounter but a real punishment for those who rejected ALLAH’S guidance and died upon disbelief and rebellion. Only people who are seriously thirsty and have no access to drinking water can tell how it feels. Sure! Not all of us can afford building wells or boreholes for entire communities – but how many of us take it as a point of duty to buy a bottle of water or a bag of sachet water, give it out to people as sadaqag? The rewards of giving water are multiplied even further when it's given to someone who desperately needs it. In fact, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was asked, "Which charity is best?"  *Allah's Question* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Allah (swt) asks a powerful question in the Quran: أَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ سَاجِدࣰا وَقَآئِمࣰا يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُواْ رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ "Is the one who prays in the dark of the night, bowing and prostrating, who fears the Hereafter and hopes for his Lord's mercy, is that person like the one who does not?..." 📚(Quran 39:9) The answer is clear: No! They are not the same! Allah (swt) knows how hard it is. HE knows the war you have with your bed. HE sees you fighting your tired body and your sleepy eyes, all just to worship HIM. Allah (swt) is the Most Merciful. He forgives many sins. If you miss a prayer, He can forgive you. If you lie to Him, He can forgive you. Sins between you and Allah—He may forgive if He wills.  FAJR REMINDER: ITS LOCATION AND PURPOSE By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 22, 1447 (8-June-2026) The Ka’bah stands at the heart of Makkah and is regarded as the most sacred site in Islām. It is the Qiblah toward which Muslims across the world direct their faces and hearts in worship. Five times every day, believers turn toward it in humble devotion as they perform their Ṣalāt, seeking the Pleasure of Allāh Alone. Every year, Muslims travel from different parts of the globe to visit the Ka’bah, performing Ṭawāf and fulfilling the rites of ‘Umrah and Ḥajj. The significance of this blessed House is highlighted in the Statement of Allāh (ﷻ): “In it are manifest signs (for example), the Maqām (place) of Ibrāhīm; whosoever enters it, he attains security.  Fire on Ur Tongue ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Listen carefully, my brother, my sister. Your good deeds are like a beautiful garden. Every prayer, every charity, every kind act is a strong, healthy tree in that garden. But there is a fire that can burn your whole garden to ashes in seconds. That fire is your tongue. Yes! When you speak about a Muslim in their absence—in a way they would hate—you dig a grave. Yes. You dig a grave for your own good deeds. You then, throw your beautiful deeds into that grave and burn them. It burns fast, like fire burns dry leaves. It does not matter if what you said is true. If they would be hurt to hear it, it is backbiting (Gheebah). It is a grave sin. If what you said is not true, it is even worse. It is slander (Buhtan). This is a major, major sin. (82:11) يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ "They know whatever you do." (82:12) The meaning is that these angels are fully aware of the deeds ALLAH has commanded them to record. They witness and record our actions with complete accuracy by ALLAH'S permission. This does not mean that the Angels possess independent knowledge of the unseen.  FAJR REMINDER: BUILDING THE ANCIENT HOUSE By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 21, 1447 (7-June-2026) Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) took his son, Ismā'īl, with him to build the House of Allāh (the Ka‘bah). This contains a profound lesson for parents. Children often learn through observation, and their parents are usually their greatest role models. Therefore, parents should strive to set good examples and allow their children to witness and participate in righteous deeds. Involving children in acts of worship helps nurture faith and allows them to share in the reward. From an early age, they should be encouraged to establish prayer, observe voluntary fasts, give charity, and engage in other acts of obedience to Allāh. As Prophet Ibrāhīm and Ismā‘īl (‘Alayhimā Salām) raised the foundations of the House, stone upon stone, they continuously supplicated to Allāh, asking Him to accept their efforts.
