THE STRAIGHTENER OF SUSTENANCE
He is the one who releases abundance, joy, relief, and ease after difficulties. These are manifestations of His attribute Al-Baasit.

*Benefits*
Lift the hands towards the heavens (as in du'ā) after Salaatud Duha (Chast) and say this Name of Allāh10 times. Thereafter pass the hands across the face (as when finishing du'ā): Insha-Allah self-sufficiency and independence will be granted to you by Allāh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). This must be done daily.

Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
