*BEWARE OF COMPLAINING AND BEING DISCONTENT*
*"... And He sent down as-Sakīnah (calmness and tranquility) upon them..."* [Qur'an 48:18]
An old and wise man said:
"When I was in my twenties and thirties, I used to moan and complain even when I was enjoying myself, because I did not know that I was happy. Now that I am over sixty, I know fully well how happy I was when I was in my twenties and thirties. But that knowledge came too late. I have no more than memories, and memories are regrets. If I had understood on time, I would have lived with great joy. I would not have found any reason to complain when I was in the primrose of my youth, which I can only see now that it and I are fading."
To you, dear reader, I say:
Either you will be aware of your happiness and joy it with all your senses, or you will ignore that and look elsewhere for what you think you are lacking, in which case you will fall prey to complaining and discontent. In that case, wait until this present becomes the past, then you will weep and realize it, but now you have nothing left but fading memories.
