*WHOEVER DOES NOT FIND COMFORT IN ALLĀH WILL NOT FIND COMFORT IN ANYTHING ELSE*
*"Whom no man or Jinn has touched before them..."* [Qur'an 55:74]
Allāh, the Almighty, is the source of comfort and joy for the believers and those who obey Him, and the most beloved to those who worship Him. Whoever finds comfort in Him will be happy and will enjoy life. His heart will be at peace and filled with life and love of Allāh; Whose Attributes will live in his conscience and he will always bear the names of Allāh in mind. He will remember Allāh's names and ponder over His Attributes; his mind will be filled with thoughts of ar-Rahmān (the Most Gracious), ar-Rahīm (the Most Merciful), al-Hamīd (the Praiseworthy), al-Halīm (the Forbearing), al-Barr (the Source of Goodness), al-Latīf (the Most Subtle and Courteous), al-Muhsin (the Most Beneficent), al-Wadūd (the Loving), al-Karīm (the Most Generous, al-'Azīm (the Almighty)...So, he finds comfort in al-Bāri (the creator), and loves al-'Azīm (the Almighty) and feels close to al-'Alīm (the All-knowing).
The feeling that Allāh is close to His slave brings comfort and the joy of knowing that one is under His care.
*"And when My slaves ask you (O' Muhammad) concerning Me, (then answer them), I am indeed near (to them by my Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me..."* [Qur'an 2:186]
But finding comfort in Allāh does not just happen without hard work and striving for it. It is the fruit of obedience, the result of love. Whoever obeys Allāh and follows His commands and avoids that which He has forbidden and loves Him sincerely, will find joy and comfort in being close to Him.
*"Real beauty lies in beautiful behaviour, manners and mind."*
