DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 22nd day of Dhul Hijjah, 1440AH (Friday 23rd August, 2019).

ALLAH says:
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
When the Friday prayer has been concluded, then disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of ALLAH and remember ALLAH often that you may succeed. Suurat Al-Jumuah 62:10. This verse clearly shows that the best time to do business on Friday is after jumuat especially for those with shops, taxi drivers etc. It's also important to be reciting lots of zikir after jumuat such laailaaha illaa Anta Astaghfiruka wa atuubu ilaika, oh ALLAH, there is nothing worthy of worship except you ALLAH, I repent to you and I seek your forgiveness.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَزِيَادَةُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَنْ مَسَّ الْحَصَى فَقَدْ لَغَا
Whoever performs ablution in an excellent manner and comes to Friday prayer and listens while remaining quiet, then he will have his sins forgiven until the next Friday and an additional three days, but whoever plays with pebbles has behaved frivolously. Source: Sahih Muslim 857. This means we must listen to the Khutbah attentively without any distraction. Turn off your phone, avoid talking to anyone, stop playing with your fingers etc.
Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
غُسْلُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ
Taking a bath on Friday is an obligation upon every person who has reached the age of puberty.
Source: Sahih Bukhari 839. Also remember to recite lots of salutations to our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam without forgetting Suuratul kahf. Please remember me in your du'ā.
