*5. THE MESSAGE SENT TO AL-MUNDHIR IBN SĀWY*
The Prophet (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him) sent a message to Al-Mundhir Ibn Sāwy , the ruler of Bahrain and ordered Al-'Alāa Ibnul-Hadhramy to convey it. The message said: "In the name of Allāh, the All-Gracious, the All-Merciful. This message is from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allāh, to Al-Mundhir Ibn Sāwy. May peace be upon one who follows the right path, I do praise Allāh who there is no god but Him and testify that Muhammad is Allāh's Servant and Messenger. I remind you of Allāh. It is in one's own benefit to take advice. He who obeys and follows my Messengers is considered to have obeyed me as well. And he who takes their advice is considered to have accepted mine, too. In fact, my Messengers spoke highly of you. I have entrusted you with ruling your tribe. So let Muslims adhere to their faith. I also pardoned the sinners, so forgive them. We can depose you in case you are in no fit state to remain in authority. As for those who struck to Judaism or Magianism, they are to pay tribute.
After reading the message, Al-Mundhir replied: "O Allāh's Messenger! I have read your message before the population of Bahrain. Some of them admired Islam and embraced it while others dislike it. There are Magicians and Jews among my subjects, so advice me on what to do about them."

*6. THE MESSAGE SENT TO HAWDHAH IBN 'ALI, THE RULER OF YAMĀMAH*
The content of the message was as follows: "In the name of Allāh, the All-Gracious, the All-Merciful. This message is from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allāh, to Hawdhah Ibn 'Ali. May peace be upon one who follows the right path. I am certain that my religion will predominate everywhere. If you convert to Islam, you will be safe and retain your authority."
Salit Ibn 'Amr Al-'Amery conveyed this message to Hawdhah who welcomed him warmly. After he had read the message, he wrote a message and said in it: "I admire your invitation so much. But Arabs regard me in awe, so designate something for me." He gave Salit a prize and provided him the message. After reading it, he said: "If he asks me for a plot of land, I will give him nothing. May He perish and lose his power." After the Prophet (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him) finished with the Conquest of Mecca, Angel Gabriel informed him that Hawdhah had died. Thereupon he said: "After my demise there will appear an imposter who will claim to be a Prophet in Yamāmah, but he will be killed." Someone asked: "Who will kill such an imposter, Allāh's Messenger?" He said: "You and your fellow Muslims."
