End of Devotion* [[---- Part Four ----]]

*End of Devotion* [[---- Part Four ----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) exemplified the beauty of PERSISTENT good deeds (even if it's small). He said: “أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قل“ “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if they are small.” 📚(Sahih Bukhari) *Bye-bye Qiyamul-lail & Tahajjud* If the month of shawwal crescent 🌙 is sighted tonight or tomorrow, then, 85% of Muslim Faithful (worldwide) who established qiyamul-lail and Tahajjud in the month of Ramadan will go on 11 months sabbatical leave 😀. Yes. They will not pray midnight prayer again until another Ramadan. And many who may establish midnight prayer will not be CONSISTENT as they do in the month of Ramadan. My people! Qiyamullail & or Tahajjud is one of Allah’s most beloved sunnah practices, performed by His servants. This worship is a good sunnah throughout the year and not only in the month of Ramadan. And Prophet ...

End of Devotion* [[--- Part Three ---]]

*End of Devotion* [[--- Part Three ---]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) reminds us, *“O Servants of Allah! Ramaḍān is ending, and very little of it remains: whoever from you spent it well should finish it the same way; and whoever is falling behind should finish it in the best manner, for the reward of actions are determined by their ending.”* Now, “How can the believer not shed tears at the departure of Ramaḍān, when he does not know if he will live to the next Ramaḍān?” – 📚Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) Alhamdulillah!!! It's our Du'a that, the way this year month of Ramadan will soon leaves us, May Allah (swt) count us amongst the successful ones in this blessed month and count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt).  *End of Devotion* [[---- Part Two -----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم It's our Du'a that Allah (swt) count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt). Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah. However , We will soon be celebrating the peaceful end of the holy season of Ramadan - In Shaa Allah. But in terms of what an accepted Ramadan looks like, it’s important to remember that acceptance ultimately comes from Allah. And, there are certain signs that may indicate a successful Ramadan, such as feeling a sense of peace and closeness to Allah; experiencing spiritual growth and increased devotion; and seeing positive changes in one’s behavior and relationships (even after the end of Ramadan). *Negatively Bidding Farewell to Ramadan by Preparing to Display Nakedness* Eid is a joyous occasion for Muslims around the world. It is supposed to be a delight to have completed religi...

Ibn al-Munkadir, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   Saturday 29th March 2025. 29 Ramadan 1446 AH    Ibn al-Munkadir, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Once, I was sitting in the mosque next to the pulpit supplicating in the middle of the night. There was a man standing next to one of the pillars of the mosque covering his face with a mask. I overheard him saying whilst supplicating: ‘O my Lord! Drought has severely affected Your slaves, and I adjure You to bring down rain upon us!’ It was not but a short while that a cloud came with rain.” Ibn al-Munkadir was keen to know all the righteous people and thus decided to try to find out who this man was. He said: “I said to myself: ‘There is a pious man in the city who I do not know’, so when he concluded his prayer, I followed him until he reached the house of Anas, and entered it. I went back, and after I prayed the Fajr prayer I went to his house and knocked his door. When he opened the door, I asked him: ‘I overheard y...

SOULS IN EXISTENCE

🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   Friday 28th March 2025. 28 Ramadan 1446 AH *SOULS IN EXISTENCE* Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: _*“When Allah created Aadam He wiped his back and every soul of his offspring He was to create up to the Day of Resurrection fell from his back. He put on the forehead of every one of them a flash of light, then presented them to Aadam who asked, ‘My Lord, who are they?’ Allah said, ‘They are your offspring.’*_ _*He saw one of them and was charmed by the flash on his forehead, hence he asked, ‘My Lord, who is this?’ Allah told him that he was a man from his children of the final group of people who would be called Dawood.*_ _*Aadam asked, ‘My Lord! What age have you assigned to him?’ Allah said, ‘Sixty years.’ Aadam requested, ‘My Lord! Increase his age and give him forty years of my life.’*_ _*When Aadam’s period of life came to an end, the angel of death came to him. He pro...

THE SECRET

When the great saint, Hazrat Khwaaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (rahmatullah alayhi) passed away, many people mourned this great loss. His casket had to be brought to a ground where there were many shayookh, pious individuals & countless followers who had gathered to perform the janazah salaah & pay homage to him. When it was time to read the janaazah salaah, a man came forward & said: "I am this man's wali (legal guardian) & he has asked me to convey his wishes to all of u present here for the salaah. Hadhrat Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (rahmatullah alayhi) wishes that only the person with the following 4 qualities will be allowed to lead his janaazah salaah. They are: 1. He always joins the jamaat at the first takbir. 2. He has never missed tahajjud salaah. 3. He has never stared at a non mahram woman. 4. He is so pious that he has never missed the sunnah salaah before Asr. The crowd was shocked & so silen...

ETIQUETTES OF EID

*ETIQUETTES OF EID* Praise be to Allah. The Sunnahs that the Muslim should observe on the day of ‘Eid are as follows:  1. *Doing ghusl before going out to the prayer:*  It was narrated in a sahih hadith in al-Muwatta and elsewhere that ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Umar used to do ghusl on the day of al-Fitr before going out to the prayer-place in the morning. (Al-Muwatta 428)  Al- Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Muslims were unanimously agreed that it is recommended to do ghusl for ‘Eid prayer .  The reason why it is recommended is the same reason as that for doing ghusl before Jumu’ah and other public gatherings. Rather on ‘Eid the reason is even stronger.  2.  *Eating before going out to pray on ‘Eid al-Fitr and after the prayer on ‘Eid al-Adha:*  Part of the etiquette is not to go out to pray on ‘Eid al-Fitr until one has eaten some dates, because of the hadith narrated by al-Bukhari from Anas ibn Malik, who said that the Messenger of Al...

Alhamdulillah for Allah make us see this day of Ramadhan.

The story to reflect. Alhamdulillah for Allah make us see this day of Ramadhan. Ramadhan will leave us soon but the Lord of Ramadhan we will continue serving till death. Allah says, And worship thy lord until certainty(death) comes to you. Surah hijr 15;99. The story to share is remaining steadfast upon taqwa after Ramadhan. There lived a lady who could not give a day without committing adultery and chatting with men, drinking alcohol and all evil. This lady was from a Muslim home and her dad too was an imam and respected person. This lady used to sin that the father wa ashamed and people did lost respect for him in the city Due to that, the imam and his families had to relocate a different city to avoid the shame. The father never despise his daughter, he cared for her and will make Dua for her day and night. It was in Ramadhan as this lady Ramadhan came and some faith gripse into her heart. She said let me give up small of this sin for the sake of Ramadhan. She deleted her conta...

TYPES OF FOOD AND RATE FOR ZAKAATUL FITIR

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 28th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Friday,  28th March 2025. *_TYPES OF FOOD AND RATE FOR ZAKAATUL FITIR_*. BismilLah.  The jurists hold different views as to the types of food that must be given as Zakat-ul-Fitr. All the views are valid as a choice for us. Imam Hanbali view is that the kinds of food which can be given are five: dates, raisins, wheat, barley, and dry cottage cheese. Imam Ahmad is reported to have said that any kind of staple grain or dates are also permissible, even if the above five types are available. Imam Maalik and Imam Shaafi`i are of the view that it is permissible to give any kind of food as long as it is the main staple in that particular region or the main food of the person. As for Imam Abu Haneefah, he supports  paying the value of Zakat-ul-Fitr in money. Ibn Al-Qayyim highlighted these different viewpoints and concluded that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prescribed Zakat-ul-Fitr as one Sa...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. Alhamdulillah, Friday is the best day of the week. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Attending to Friday prayer is better than our business we use to attend forgetting the prayer. As reported in hadith, Abdur-Rahman Al-A'raj narrated that: He heard Abu Hurairah say: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day, Adam, peace be upon him was created, on this day he was admitted to Paradise, and on this day he was taken out of it.'" Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 14, Hadith 10. It is Sunnah to bath ghusl, ch...

End of Devotion* [[---- Part One -----

*End of Devotion* [[---- Part One -----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Whether we like it or not, for those who Allah (swt) will grant long-life, we will soon be celebrating the peaceful end of the holy season of Ramadan - In Shaa Allah. May Allah (swt) count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt). Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah Now, It's believed that we are warming up for giving out the Zakatul-fitr enjoined on us by Islam at the end of Ramadan. Yes. It is important to remind ourselves that the successful completion of the Ramadan fast is tied to the payment of Zakatul-fitr. Evidence: Anas bn Malik (RA) reports that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “The Ramadan fast of believing servants of Allah (SWT) would hang between the heavens and the earth until he pays the Zakatul-fitr. When he gives it out, Allah (SWT) would grant it two wings to fly to the seventh sky where...

Warning to our cosmetic sisters

Warning to our cosmetic sisters. Alhamdulillah, As we are getting to Eid, let's fear Allah and know that Eid is a day of happiness. As we are in Ramadhan, let's concentrate on it. Eid is for those who has succeeded in Ramadan and have changed their habit to what is pleased to Allah and his rasool One advice to share is to avoid makeups when going to Eid without the niqab. Because if woman beautify her face and goes out, she is sinful and has to cover her face. And concerning, the hand tattooing and designs, it is permissible for a woman but should not allow a non mahrams to see the design lest something can come to his heart which can lead to sin. As reported in hadith, The prophet pbuh saw a hand of a person and asked whose hand is it? So she replied, that of a lady? So the prophet pbuh said to her why does she apply a henna to make it different from men? As reported, It was narrated from 'Aishah that: A woman reached out her hand (to give) a letter to the Prophet [SAW], a...

The night of Qadr

The night of Qadr. Alhamdulillah, the night of Qadr is a night better than thousand month of worship. Allah revealed unto the messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam saying to Him, We have revealed it(Quran) in the night of power. What will make you know the night of power? The Night of Power is better than thousand months. In it,the angels descend and the spirit(Gabriel) in it, by the permission of their lord, Peace be upon it till the dawn. Surah Qadr. This is the surah talking of the Night of Qadr. The Night of Power is the night matters are destined. Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night.[1] Indeed, We were to warn [mankind]. Therein [i.e., on that night] is made distinct[1] every precise matter - Ad-Dukhan 44:5 أَمۡرࣰا مِّنۡ عِندِنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ [Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. The story of Fudayl ibn Iyad

The story of Fudayl ibn Iyad. Alhamdulillah, one of the story to reflect is the story of a bandit and a thief called Fudayl ibn Iyad who later repented and became a great scholar. As there was a time in Baghdad, there is no one who has no heard the story of Fudayl ibn Iyad. He and his people stood at the pathway of Baghdad to rob people of their wealth. Everyone knows of him but none have seen him before. One-day a man who was passing by the route was informed of the Robbery there and so as he was passing, he met a man sitting and said to him, I am a traveller, and I want to lend you my things to keep for me later I will come for it. This was rather Fudayl who was sitting there. He was amazed at this man. So one-day he was climbing a wall at night to steal from a man. This man was reciting Quran and reached a surah in Hadid saying, Al-Hadid 57:16 ۞أَلَمۡ يَأۡنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَن تَخۡشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمۡ لِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ ...

WHAT ARE OUR PLANS AFTER RAMADAN?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 26th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Wednesday,  26th March 2025. *_WHAT ARE OUR PLANS AFTER RAMADAN?_*. Bismillah. Ramadhan is a school of eeman and a stop to recharge one's spiritual batteries to acquire one's provision for the rest of the year. For when will one take a lesson and change for better if not in the month of Ramadan? The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits, and manners that are in variance with the Law of ALLAH Azzawajal. ALLAH Azzawajal says in Quran: Verily, HE does not change the condition of a people until they change their ways of life. If you are from those who benefited from Ramadhan, fulfilled the requirements of taqwa, truly fasted the month, prayed in it with truthfulness, and strove against your soul, then praise and thank ALLAH Azzawajal, and ask HIM for steadfastness upon it until we return to HIM. Be not like one who has sawn a shirt and then destroyed it. Have you...

Could it be Tonight?

*Could it be Tonight?* ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Lailatul Qadr – is a night more blessed than a thousand months. Yes. And the signs by which Lailatul Qadr is known include:                   (1) Ubay Ibn Ka’ab said that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) announced that one of its signs was that when the sun rose on the following morning, it had no visible rays.” 📚[Muslim]                  (2) Ibn Abbas narrated by Ibn Khuzaimah, and by al-Tayalisi in his Musnad, with a Sahih isnad, that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “Lailatul Qadr is a pleasant night, neither hot nor cold, and the following day the sun rises red and weak.” 📚[See Sahih Ibn Khuzaimah and Musnad of al-Tayalisi]                 (3) Wathilah Ibn al-...

Holding firmly to the Sunnah.

Holding firmly to the Sunnah. Alhamdulillah, let's remind ourselves and know that the Sunnah is very important. Sunnah means the path Or way. It is the way which the messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam had laid for us teaching us a lot about the Quran. Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom[1] and teaching you that which you did not know. This refers to the prophet of Allah Salla Allahu alayhi wasalam and his Sunnah which he is teaching us.

LET'S PAY OUR ZAKAATUL FITIR

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 25th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Tuesday,  25th March 2025. *_LET'S PAY OUR ZAKAATUL FITIR_*. Bismillah. Zakaat al-fitr is obligatory upon every Muslim who is self-supporting, if he has one saa’ or more than he needs of food for himself and his family on the day and night of Eid.   The basis for that is the report narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) who said: “The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) enjoined zakaat al-fitr, a saa’ of dates, or a saa’ of barley, upon all the Muslims, slave and free, male and female, young and old, and he commanded that it be paid before the people went out to pray.” Agreed upon; this version was narrated by al-Bukhaari.  And Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri narrated: “We used to pay zakaat al-fitr when the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) was alive, a saa’ of food or a saa’ of dates or a saa’ of barley or a saa’ of raisins or a sa...

Importance of giving zakaah

Importance of giving zakaah. Alhamdulillah, zakah is the third pillar of Islam and obligatory. Allah says in Quran, Al-Baqarah 2:110 وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرࣲ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرࣱ  And establish prayer and give zakāh, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allāh. Indeed Allāh, of what you do, is Seeing. Whenever Allah talks of solaah( prayer), he associate zakaah with it. Allah s.w.t enjoined zakaah as a purity of our wealth. Take, [O Muḥammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allāh's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing. This ayah...

PURPOSE OF ZAKAATUL FITIR

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 24th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Monday,  24th March 2025. *_PURPOSE OF ZAKAATUL FITIR_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem.  The main purpose of Zakah al-Fitr is to provide those who fasted with the means of making up for their errors during the month of fasting. Zakah al-Fitr also provides the poor with a means with which they can celebrate the festival of breaking the fast (`Eid al-Fitr) along with the rest of the Muslims. Ibn Abbas reported, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory so that those who fasted may be purified of their idle deeds and shameful talk (committed during Ramadhan) and so that the poor may be fed. Whoever gives it before Salah will have it accepted as Zakah, while he who gives it after the Salah has given Sadaqah." [Collected by Imam Abu Dawud - Eng. transl. vol. 2, p. 421, no. 1605]. Hence, the goal of Sadaqah al-Fitr is the spiritual development of the Believers. By making us give up some of...

HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ZAKAAT THIS YEAR?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 23rd day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Sunday,  23rd March 2025. *_HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ZAKAAT THIS YEAR?_* BismilLah. In summary, Zakaat is one of the five pillars of islam. It is an obligation from ALLAH Azzawajal upon every Muslim who possesses the minimum amount of wealth given certain conditions. This is not Zakaatul Fitir or Eidul Fitir, which will be reminded from tomorrow in shaaALLAH.  The type of wealth upon which zakat is obligatory are monetary assets, livestock, agricultural produce, and merchandise. I will focus on monetary. Gold, silver, and currency. Zakaat [obligatory charity] must be paid on gold if it reaches the Nisaab [i.e. the minimum amount liable for Zakaah], which is 20 Mithqaal [a measure which equals 85 grams of pure gold, 1 Mithqaal = 4.25 grams], this means that one should pay ½ a Mithqaal as Zakaat, i.e., 2.5% of the value of gold. Zakaat must be paid on silver if it reaches the value of 200 Dirhams, which is the equ...
