Ramadhan series.
The story to reflect.
Allah really forgives us and ready to forgive..
Alhamdulillah, the messenger of Allah pbuh told his disciples of the beautiful story of a man who committed a lot of sins. He killed ninety peoples
So his heart became worried and sad of his sins and wanted to make tawbah.
He was walking around to find someone to tell him. So he met a man who was a scholar and told him what he did and the man said,
Allah will never forgive you for killing ninety nine peoples.
So he killed him too making hundred.
So after some time,he regretted and still wanted to repent, as he was walking he met a knowledgeable person and told him of what he did.
The man said to him,
If you sincerely wants to repent, Allah will forgive you your sins but I want you to leave the place to are to a placed where there are righteous people so you can copy them.
So he started his journey and as he was walking, the angel of death came and took him.
So the angels of hellfire and angels of mercy where arguing over his soul
So Allah sent an angel to come and settle between them.
So when the angel came, he asked them why they are arguing over the soul of this man.
The angel of hellfire said he never died any deed and killed ninety nine people.
The angel of mercy said but he has repented.
So the angel said to them, measure the steps he took from that place he started to where he died and give him reward of good deeds and weigh it on the scale.
So as they weigh, it became heavier than the evil deeds and he entered paradise.
Allah says in Quran,
An-Nisa' 4:100
And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allāh will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allāh and His Messenger and then death overtakes him - his reward has already become incumbent upon Allāh. And Allāh is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
May Allah forgives us our sins. Aamin
