*End of Devotion*
[[---- Part One -----]]------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Whether we like it or not, for those who Allah (swt) will grant long-life, we will soon be celebrating the peaceful end of the holy season of Ramadan - In Shaa Allah. May Allah (swt) count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt). Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah
Now,
It's believed that we are warming up for giving out the Zakatul-fitr enjoined on us by Islam at the end of Ramadan. Yes. It is important to remind ourselves that the successful completion of the Ramadan fast is tied to the payment of Zakatul-fitr.
Evidence:
Anas bn Malik (RA) reports that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “The Ramadan fast of believing servants of Allah (SWT) would hang between the heavens and the earth until he pays the Zakatul-fitr. When he gives it out, Allah (SWT) would grant it two wings to fly to the seventh sky where it would remain until the owner comes for it.” 📚 Authentic Hadith
My people!
Zakatul-fitr is a Sunnah that is compulsory on every Muslim, young and old, male and female, free-born as well as slave. The Zakatul-fitr of every Muslim is to be given out by the person responsible for his/her sustenance. And If, for reasons of poverty a Muslim were unable to pay the Zakatul-fitr latest before leaving his house for the Eid prayers, he would still give it out anytime he is able to afford it. Yes. Zakatul-fitr has no waiver or substitute. It is obligatory on every Muslim.
Servants of Allah!
It has been a tradition in the lives of many Muslims today that the moment the month of Ramadan ends.......🙆♂️. In fact, some Muslims will even go as far as uttering all sorts of negative words if, in case a moon is not sited for the month of shawwal.
Nonetheless,
The end of Ramadan fast should not mean an end to all the righteous acts we put forth in the month of Ramadan. Yes. Let us be sincere in our faith by resolving to continue with all the virtuous deeds we are carriing out during Ramadan. Let us also vow to continue to eschew every evil act we avoided during Ramadan. Eidul-Fitr should not be seen as an occasion for us to go back to our old sinful life of envy, mischief, betrayal, listening to music, watching haram programs on TVs, telling lies, backbiting, cheating, forgery, patronizing fortunate tellers, etc. Resuming this kind of unholy life only makes us hypocrites.
Also,
We must always remember that.......
