بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

“A time will come when nothing will be left in the minds of the people from the Quran except its calligraphy and from Islam except its name. People who call themselves Muslims will be the furthest from Islam. Mosques would be filled but empty from guidance. The scholars of that time are the worst under the heavens. From them, the elements of division and misguidance are spewed and unto them, will return” 📚[Reported by Tabarani, Daily and Al-Hakam]

Unfortunately,

The Hadith above describes the present Muslim Ummah. Yes. The Hadith applies to us because of our current understanding and perception of the Deen of Islam. Our behaviour reflects the perception of Islam as a ritualistic/spiritual creed. Our respect for Islam has dipped to an all time low by our attitude of *‘picking and choosing’* from Islam i.e. that part of Islam which suits us and rejecting the other parts which conflict with our adopted lifestyle and desires.

The problem emanates from the absence of a comprehensive understanding of Islam. An epitome of this occurs in Ramadan when millions of Muslims take it upon themselves as an objective to finish the complete recitation of Quran atleast once. However, much to our dismay, millions fail to realise the absence of the Quran from their lives😃. The Quran has become an isolated book which is recited on the occasion of Ramadan. Further more, more penetrating is the failure of the Muslims to connect the Quran with their program of life daily activities.

The Quran has been reduced to an object of reverence, calligraphy and recitation. It should be retrieved from the dusty bookshelves and put into implementation where all of humanity will reside under its shade 🌴 of justice.

My people!

Why do we continue to trouble ourselves with completing the recitation of the Quran during Ramadan, when we fail to give it the grand respect which it so rightly deserves by implementing it in our lives???. Our current outlook on Islam has dehydrated the Islam Aqeedah, from an Aqeedah which regulates man, life and the universe to an Aqeedah that resembles the creed of unbelievers.

The choice is before all Muslims to rekindle the torch of Islam as it was given to the Sahaba and not from OUR customs, traditions, experiences or selfish desires where we practice what suits us and turn our back on what did not suit us. Yes. Millions of Muslims get it right when it comes to swalah or recitation of the Quran BUT if it comes to giving out money in exchange for Allah's forgiveness and jannah.....🙆🏻‍♀️

This touch 🔦 can be rekindled when we act like prophet's companions and return to the Quran+Hadith and then apply it upon ALL our actions so that we may InshAllah fulfil the obligations of a just Ummah.

*The burning question is:*

In the Quran, how many places can you see Allah (swt) mentioning Salah without mentioning giving out of charity? We must not be a millionaire before it becomes mandatory on us to give sadaqah (on daily basis) in our lives. Yes. The only exempted from giving at a particular time is the person who have nothing to give.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...

IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE An obligation upon every Muslim

﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖  Allah ﷻ says  *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
