DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 18th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Tuesday, 18th March 2025.
*_CAN I SMOKE CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc AFTER BREAKING MY FAST?_*. BismilLah.
No, you shouldn't. In the teachings of Islam, it is well known that our body or entire system of our flesh is a trust from the CREATOR (ALLAH AZZAWAJAL). A person does not have the right to alter his physical appearance according to his own preference, to put his own life in danger or to utilise those means which will cause harm to ones health. These are most definitely not permissible according to the laws of Islam, such as tattooing, skin bleaching, smoking, etc. This is also the reason why the scholars of Islam have looked with great respect in the field of pharmacology and medicine. Imam Shafi'e (may ALLAH be pleased with him) stated: ‘Verily knowledge is of two aspects. One is that of jurisprudence, to use the Quran and Sunnah as a means by which to live your life. The second has been the knowledge of medicine for the curing of ailments. (Miftahul Sa’ada, p267). To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keeps guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
