بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As we all know, Ramadan is a period of massive spiritual growth. Anyone who observes the month with sincere faith and in compliance with the sunnah can attest to this.

Muslim Faithful!

Abu Hurayrah (r.a.) said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Every deed of the son of Adam will be multiplied between ten and seven hundred times. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, said: Except fasting. It is for Me and I shall reward for it. He gives up his desires and his food for My sake. — 📚Muslim

This hadith singles out fasting as the only act of worship that Allah claims to be for Him. Also, only He will reward the fasting person in a magnificent way. One may ask: why? This is because the fasting person gives up an innate desire of natural instinct. The majority of people love to eat, drink and enjoy conjugal relationships.

Yet, the one who is fasting gives up these desires in preference for the love of His Lord — Allah. Also, when you’re fasting only Allah knows. It is quite difficult to tell if someone is fasting. Except if you show fatigue in strength or mention to someone your state, fasting is an inward action that is not easily noticeable. This is why Allah singles it out as being for Him and has promised that the reward is with Him Alone.

Now,

In the month of Ramadan, can one pray Taraweeh and wake up to pray Tahajjud? If yes, how would one handle the issue of witr in Taraweeh and Tahajjud?

Actually,

The rulings below is applicable to someone who pray Taraweeh with imam in the masjid or anywhere and wish to pray Tahajjud alone in his or her home.

*The first option:*

When he prays with  the first imam and prays Witr with him, he may add a rak‘ah so that it will become even-numbered, then at the end of the night if he wants, he may prayer any rakaat of his choice (2 or 4 or any even number) and then, pray Witr.

*The second option:*

He may pray with the Taraweeh Imam - Witr,, then, at the end of the night if he wants, he may prayer any rakaat of his choice (2 or 4 or any even number) and no witr.

My People!

It's permissible, having prayed Taraweeh, to pray any rakaat after waking up from sleep because.....

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...
