Time wasting in ramadhan

 Time wasting in ramadhan.

Alhamdulillah,As ramadhan is here let's know the importance of every second in this month.

This month is different from other months because it is a month Allah chose and favoured among all months.

In it,reward are multiplied and none knows the reward of a deed in this month which a fasting person does.

As reported from the hadith,

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deedsis multiplied ten times."

Sahih al-Bukhari 1894.

Fasting is for Allah and he will reward the fasting person.

Allah s.w.t has promised us if we fast and we do it as it is known in the Sunnah and how the companions did, then we shall attain taqwa.

Allah says,

O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for thee as it was prescribed to those before thee as to learn taqwa.

Surah 2;183.

Ramadhan is not a month to waste time speaking of others, gossiping and malicious speech. Because this takes away the reward of our fasting..

As reported,

The Messenger of Allah said: '(Allah says) Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. Fasting is a shield. If any one of you is fasting, let him no utter obscenetalk or raise his voice in anger, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight, let him say: I am fasting. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person
