*Two Great Test in Life.*
Allah is so merciful and generous. He chooses some among us and make them better, not because he prefers them over others, not because others are not preferred, but because both of them are tested by Allah. The following tests are the most challenging tests in life:
*1. Test of beauty*
Allah ta'alah makes some of us more beautiful that the others especially the females among us. Beauty is suppose to be appreciate not celebrated. Some people who are lucky to be beautiful use their looks in a negative way. Subhanallah many beautiful people end of doing what we refer to as Al-Tabarrij meaning exposing their body. In the end, if they are not careful they end up in the wrath of Allah. I know it is difficult for the sisters to cover their hair, or hide their curves, or their chest. But Wallahi for every second you expose, the Angels are writing sins against you and are cursing you. Likewise, the Prophet himself cursed those who expose, and he said, they will not even smell paradise. So we have work to do. Beauty is beautiful, but we need to learn to control how we use it.
*2. Test of Wealth (fortune)*
Likewise wealth. Stories of wealthy people show us that wealth always changes man. Sometimes when Allah refuse to give you fortunate it is because he loves you and He does not want you to be destroyed by it. A companion asked for wealth and the Messenger said to him it is not good for you. He insisted, so Allah gave him wealth. Before he died he was arrogant and Allah became angry with him. Likewise Qaroon. He was very wealthy. He had treasures, but his wealth made him disbelieve. Wallahi most people when they are rich they dont even pray or smile at people. In the end that wealth will be the reason they will enter hell. So when making dua for wealth, ask for reasonable wealth that will not take you away from Allah.
*Conclusion*
If wealth is the best, Prophets of Allāh would have been the richest people on earth. Unfortunately 90% of them were extremely poor. Rasoulillah had only 1 set of cloth when he left this world. If wealth is the best, he would have been richer than everyone.
