LET'S KEEP STRIVING AND BE STEADFAST TILL END OF RAMADHAN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 22nd day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Saturday,  22nd March 2025. *_LET'S KEEP STRIVING AND BE STEADFAST TILL END OF RAMADHAN_*. Bismillah. ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 29:6 وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, ALLAH stands not in need of any of the creatures. Then ALLAH Azzawajal tells us that even though HE has no need from HIS creatures, HE is kind and generous to us. HE will still give to those who believe and do righteous deeds the best of rewards, which is that HE will expiate for us our bad deeds, and will reward us according to the best deeds that we did. ALLAHU AKBAR.  This is also like the Ayah, مَّنْ عَمِلَ صَـلِحاً فَلِنَفْسِهِ Whosoever does righteous good deed, it is for himself. (41:46). *_May ALLAH Azzawajal accept our little efforts and grant us the best in dunya and Aakhira_*. Aameen.

*Alternative i‘tikāf* [[--- 7th Outing ---]] ------------------------------ *Continuation of Zakatul-Fitr Payment* بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Zakat Al-Fitr is an obligation upon every Muslims that has to be completed in the assigned time. This is a generous practice of Islam where it connects the rich with the poor, and the poor with the poorer, thus eliminating poverty and reducing the disparity gap between the rich and the poor. This form of charity ensures no poor person goes hungry during Ramadan and more importantly increases our iman towards Allah (swt). Now, *Basic Errors Muslims are making with Zakat Al-Fitr:* Unfortunately, our community makes some basic errors in the payment of Zakat Al-Fitr that must be clarified. *Error No 4:* Paying at Eid Salah Some people go to Eid prayers and drop money into the donation box thinking that they have paid their Zakat  ul-Fitr. No, Zakat al-Fitr, which is food, must be in the  hands of the needy family BEFORE Eid prayer. So, if ...

LET'S STRIVE HARD SEEKING LAYLATUL QADAR

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 21st day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Friday,  21st March 2025. *_LET'S STRIVE HARD SEEKING LAYLATUL QADAR_*. BismilLah.  Many people make the mistake and only strive hard in their prayers, du’a, tawbah and charity on the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadhan. It’s true that there is a bigger chance of Laylat al-Qadr being in the odd nights. But no one knows what night is the odd night, so let's not gamble.  Ibn ‘Umar RA told us that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said: “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadhan” [Muslim, 2/823]. Laylatul Qadr is so great that if you stand in prayer/Zikir and to be blessed with it, all of your sins will be forgiven! Our sisters in their monthly cycle should also wake up and strive to seek laylatul Qadar through zikir. Don't go to the masjid. Just dress decently and sit in your room to recite your zikir. Please keep your RamadhanSadaqah coming as many poor people are excited maki...

The month of Ramadhan can d a month of our change.

The story to reflect. The month of Ramadhan can d a month of our change. Alhamdulillah, there once lived a girl who had a mother she loved alot. This mother was her everything since she never met her dad. One day, the mother called her daughter and said my daughter, as it is month of Ramadhan, I want you to go and sell this milk but for us to get more milk, let's mix the milk with water to get more money. The girl said mother, we have done this but we are in Ramadhan, what can we say if Allah asked us on the day of qiyaamah. The mother said but Allah is not there. But the girl said if Allah is not there, let's look at Ramadhan and how Muslims had change and change some for that month. The mother observed this and said indeed people have changed. She sold the milk as it was and had more profit that before adding water always. Since then, she never added water to the milk. A lesson indeed for us is that Ramadhan is a month of change. May Allah make us pious even after Ramadhan. ...

LAST 10 DAYS OF GOLDEN REWARDS

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 20th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Thursday,  20th March 2025. *_LAST 10 DAYS OF GOLDEN REWARDS_*. BismilLah.  The last ten days of Ramadhan are very precious indeed: ALLAH'S Messenger (S.A.W) used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time." (Muslim). Please don't ask me about the odd days in these last days in trying to use our wisdom to acquire laylatul Qadar. You may miss it if you do so, just strive to get some time in acts of worship throughout the night of the last days as no one can be certain which days or nights are the odd days this month.  Our mother Aishah (may ALLAH be pleased with her) reported that during the last ten days of Ramadhan; the Messenger of ALLAH would wake his wives up during the night and then remain apart from them (that is, being busy in acts of worship, seeking  Laylatul Qadr. (Bukhari). Here are some ways that we can all make the best of t...

Alternative i‘tikāf* [[---Fifth Outing---]]

*Alternative i‘tikāf* [[---Fifth Outing---]] ------------------------------ *Tip No 7:* Pay Your Zakatul-Fitr بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The last last of all acts of worships is Zakat al-Fitr, or the Zakat of Breaking the Fast of Ramadan. It also carries the name of Zakat-Al-Badan (The body tax) or Zakat-Al-Ra’s (The head tax). And this Zakat is established mainly to cleanse a Muslim individual from any MINOR shortcomings or MINOR mischief conducted during the month of Ramadan *(Excluding major shirk)*. The head of household can also pay zakat al-Fitr for their dependants such as children, servants and any dependent relatives. Scholars say any type of food that is common in a particular region can be given for fitr, (e.g. rice, corn, millet, wheat, flour, ground, etc). And, If you eat rice more in your house and you can afford giving rice for zakatul fitr, pls don't give maize 🌽. Yes. Give rice: Al-Baqarah 2:267 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا كَسَبْت...

CAN I SMOKE CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc AFTER BREAKING MY FAST continues?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 19th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Wednesday,  19th March 2025.  *_CAN I SMOKE CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc AFTER BREAKING MY FAST continues?_*. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH was a doctor at the same time as a preacher. Doctor in the sense that he taught prophetic medicines using herbs and dua. The Slow Poison of Cigarettes. ALLAH (swt) says in the Quran: “Do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, ALLAH the Most High is Most Merciful to you”(Q. 4, v29) The Last and Final Messenger to Mankind, Muhammad Abdullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) stated: “Whoever, by taking poison, killed himself, his abode will be the Hellfire 😱.” (Saheeh Muslim).  The fact from the manufacturers of cigarettes themselves says it is harmful and can kill you, which is clear on the label as such Islamically its forbidden for us. Please remember that laylatul Qadar begins tonight so let's make good use of our night and make lots ...

Is it allowed to make I'tikhaf is a small masjid?

Is it allowed to make I'tikhaf is a small masjid? Alhamdulillah, it is allowed but what is Sunnah is to make I'tikhaf in the masjid where the Eid and Friday prayers are observed. And making I'tikhaf in masjid ul haram, masjidul nabawy and masjidul aqsa has more reward than any masjid. Because these are holy places in Islam. And there is no Dua to recite when entering I'tikhaf. One should make intention from his heart and seclude in the masjid. And one is not allowed to come out of the masjid except for necessity. And to engage in dhikr and reciting Quran and not engage in worldly affairs.. And one should not touch a woman or mix with his wife except after I'tikhaf. This is the Sunnah. But if one engage in sexual intercourse at night with his wife while in I'tikhaf, he has nullify the I'tikhaf and should go home from the masjid and come back the next year

Alternative i‘tikāf* [[--Fourth Outing--]]

*Alternative i‘tikāf* [[--Fourth Outing--]] ------------------------------ *Digest this if you can't perform i‘tikāf:* بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Majority of Muslims love to perform i‘tikāf (total seclusion inside the masjid) in the last 10 DAYS of Ramadan BUT certain genuine reasons could not allowed them.. There's nothing to worry about because there's alternative to harvesting all the goodies shared to you. My people! Aside the acts mentioned in the previous episodes, here is another thing you can do on the last 10 night of Ramadan (if you are not performing itikaaf - In shaa Allah *Tip No 5:* Standing in night prayer Muslims all over the world follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by spending the last ten nights of Ramadan awake late into the night, worshipping Allah by praying and reading the Qur’an, whether at home or in their Mosque. As Muslims, we believe that Lailatul-Qadr is the best time to ask for forgiveness, although staying up late and worshiping dur...

LET'S BE MINDFUL WITH THE THIEVES OF THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 17th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Monday,  17th March 2025.  *_LET'S BE MINDFUL WITH THE THIEVES OF THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Rahim By saying thieves, I mean things and actions that can take away most of the blessings of this blessed month from us, especially social media.  Television: This thief is dangerous and ruins days of people and diminishes their rewards, by watching useless movies and programs, it squanders the time in a month where the days are the best of all days and nights are the best of all nights. Let's give TV the YELLOW card if we can be watching only Islamic lectures on it, but the RED card if we can't use it for only Islamic programs.  Too much sleep: Just because it is said in Hadith that even sleep in this month has thawab (some benefits) doesn't mean that you should excessively sleep.. The point is that if even sleep contains rewards, then imagine the rewards of Ibaadat or acts of wo...

CAN I SMOKE CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc AFTER BREAKING MY FAST?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 18th day of Ramadhan 1446AH, Tuesday,  18th March 2025.  *_CAN I SMOKE CIGARETTES, WEE, MARIJUANA etc AFTER BREAKING MY FAST?_*. BismilLah.  No, you shouldn't. In the teachings of Islam, it is well known that our body or entire system of our flesh is a trust from the CREATOR (ALLAH AZZAWAJAL). A person does not have the right to alter his physical appearance according to his own preference, to put his own life in danger or to utilise those means which will cause harm to ones health. These are most definitely not permissible according to the laws of Islam, such as tattooing, skin bleaching, smoking, etc. This is also the reason why the scholars of Islam have looked with great respect in the field of pharmacology and medicine. Imam Shafi'e (may ALLAH be pleased with him) stated: ‘Verily knowledge is of two aspects. One is that of jurisprudence, to use the Quran and Sunnah as a means by which to live your life. The second has be...

The ruling on I'tikhaf in Islam

 The ruling on I'tikhaf in Islam Alhamdulillah, observing the I'tikhaf is Sunnah mu'akkadah of the messenger of Allah peace be upon him. English - Sahih International It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations].
