Commentary: This verse explains who the "guardians" (لَحَافِظِينَ) mentioned in the previous verse are. They are Angels whom ALLAH Azzawajal describes with two noble qualities: 1. كِرَامًا (Kirāman) – Noble They are honored servants of ALLAH Azzawajal, distinguished by purity, obedience, and dignity. ALLAH Azzawajal says elsewhere: بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ "Rather, they are honored servants." (21:26). The Angels never disobey ALLAH Azzawajal and carry out HIS commands perfectly. Commentary: After reminding mankind of the reality of the Day of Judgment and rebuking those who deny accountability, ALLAH Azzawajal informs us that none of our deeds are lost or forgotten. The "guardians" mentioned in this verse are the angels assigned by ALLAH Azzawajal to watch over and record our actions.  FAJR REMINDER: THE KHUTBAH AND ITS CONDITIONS By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 19, 1447 (5-June-2026) The Fuqahā’ (jurists) of the four Madhāhib are reported to have agreed that the Jumu’ah Khutbah (Friday Sermon) is an essential condition for the validity of the Friday prayer. It is part of the remembrance of Allāh that He commands in His Saying: “O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Ṣalāt (Prayer) on Friday (Jumu’ah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allāh [Jumu’ah religious talk (i.e. Khutbah) and Ṣalāt (prayer)] and leave of business (and every other thing), that is better for you if you did but know!” [Sūrah Al-Jumu’ah (62): 9] The Jumu’ah Khutbah has two important conditions. First, it must be delivered after the time for Jumu’ah prayer begins. Second, unlike the ‘Eid Khutbah, which is given after the prayer, the Jumu’ah Khutbah must be delivered before the prayer.  *Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 3 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Offering obligatory prayer behind someone establishing nafil prayer:* There is nothing wrong with one who is offering an obligatory prayer to pray behind one who is offering an optional prayer. Evidence: Mu adh ibn Jabal (r.a.) used to pray Isha’ with the Prophet (pbuh), then he would go back to his people and lead them in praying ‘Isha’, and the prayer was optional for him and obligatory for them. An-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “In this Hadith, we see that it is permissible for one who is offering an obligatory prayer to pray behind one who is offering a optional prayer, because Mu‘adh used to offer the obligatory prayer with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he discharged his duty, then he would pray the second time with his people, so it was voluntary for him and obligatory for them.  *Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 2 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Praying Maghrib behind one who is praying ‘Isha’:* Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The correct view on this is that if a person comes (to the mosque) and the imam is praying ‘Isha’, whether he is with a group or not, he should join the imam, with the intention of praying Maghrib. It does not matter if the imam’s intention is different from that of one who is praying behind him, because the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Actions are but by intentions, and each person will have but that which he intended.” If they join him in the second rak’ah, they can say the tasleem with him, because they will have prayed three rak’ahs, and it does not matter if they sit for the Tashahhud during their first rak’ah. If they join him in the first rak’ah, then when he stands up for the fourth rak’ah, they can sit and recite the Tashahhud and say the tasleem, then join him in what remains of ‘Isha prayer....

 *Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 1 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Praying Asr behind an Imam Praying Maghrib:* It is not permissible to observe ‘Asr prayer behind an Imam observing Maghrib prayer; rather one should pray Maghrib with that particular Imam, then pray ‘Asr afterward, as agreed upon by all leading scholars and he does not have to repeat the Maghrib prayer after praying ‘Asr according to the most correct opinion. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyyah said that he should pray Maghrib with the Imam, then pray ‘Asr afterward, as agreed upon by all leading scholars.  FAJR REMINDER: THOSE WHO HAVE TAQWĀ… By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 16, 1447 (2-June-2026) Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) was commanded through a dream to sacrifice his beloved son, Isma’īl (‘Alayhi Salām). This was undoubtedly one of the greatest and clearest tests of faith ever placed upon a servant of Allāh. Yet, without hesitation, Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) hastened to fulfil what he had seen, demonstrating complete submission to the Command of Allāh and unwavering obedience to Him. Because of his remarkable devotion, Allāh (ﷻ) praises him, saying: “And of Ibrāhīm who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allāh ordered him to do or convey).” [Sūrah An-Najm (53): 37] As a reward for his sincerity and obedience, Allāh replaced Isma’īl (‘Alayhi Salām) with a sacrificial animal.  *Ruqaiyyah's Life* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Ruqaiyyah, lived a life of full-time Muslim. She prayed Tahajjud CONSISTENTLY without missing. She died when Zainab was young. Before her death, she held Zainab’s hand. Her last words were: "Never you be a part-time Muslim who doesn't establish Tahajjud consistently for any reason. Be like me."
