َللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ، وَارْحَمْنِيْ، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ، إنَّکَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِیْمُ -
Allāhummagh-fir lī , war-hamnī, wa tub ‘alayy(a), innaka antat-Tawwābur-Rahīm.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, and accept my repentance; verily You are the Grantor of pardons and the Most Merciful.

The Crusaders met him whilst he wore a patched garb. They asked him the reason as to why his name generated such immense awe and fear that captured the hearts of his enemies. He replied; Your kings taught you to love the World (Duniyah) and its wealth and our Prophet Sallallaho Alaihi wa Sallam taught us to fear ALLAH SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala and love death.
