*Are U Grateful?*
------------------بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
There are many people now suffering from INABILITY to swallow saliva (one of the favours we take for granted). In hospitals, there are millions of people all over the world now who are surviving on ARTIFICIAL OXYGEN due to difficulty in breathing.. As I speak, there are millions of people all over the word who can not DEFECATE (pass out feaces) on their own except they are operated in the hospital... etc...
Fellow Muslim,
Which of the ABOVE health problems are you suffering from? None right? Then, why are you not been GRATEFUL enough to your creator?
All the things listed ABOVE are things we are not even count as favor. Yes. Imagine yourself not able to swallow saliva for just one hour😃.
My People,
We can never count Allah's blessings in our lives, this is why it is mandatory on us to be ever grateful to Allah for everything that we possess including our wealth, health, status, intellectual abilities and life (no matter our present predicament).
And,
Showing gratitude to Allah (swt) should go beyond saying - *"Alhamdulillah"* verbally. Yes. Our ACTIONS should express our gratitude to Allah (swt) MORETHAN we do verbally, and one of the best ways to give thanks to Allah (swt) is to keep to praying midnight nawafil everyday (without missing) atleast 2 rakaats which will not take us us morethan 10-15minutes.
This is what our mentor, prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did and he motivated us to do also.
Evidence:
A’ishah (r.a.), the Prophet’s wife reported: "When the Prophet (pbuh) prayed (the optional night prayers: Qiyam-ul-layl), he would stand until the skin of his feet swelled. So, I said: “O Prophet of Allah, do you do as such while Allah has forgiven you all mistakes?” He (pbuh) responded: *“Should not I be a grateful servant of Allah?”*📚 (Muslim)Abdullah, do not be like so and so! He used to pray at night and then he stopped doing that”*(📚Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Servants of Allah!
Naturally, at times we may wonder who the real beneficiary of the gratitude we show to Allah (swt) is. Yes. But in Surah Ibrahim, Allah (swt) answers, *“If you are thankful I will add more (favors) unto you but if you show ingratitude then my punishment is terrible indeed”* (📚 Qur'an chapter 14 verse 7).
Now, the verse above proves that our shukr is only beneficial to us alone, and our ingratitude is harmful to us alone. Therefore, be amongst those who show gratitude to their creator by waking up every night for Tahajjud. Why Tahajjud?
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: *“The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.”*📚(Muslim)
*Menstruation Is Not A Punishment:*
The Prophet (pbuh) said about menstruation, *“Verily this is a matter Allah has written upon the girls of Prophet Adam (as)…” 📚[Bukhari]
It is permissible for a woman in menstruation and post-natal bleeding to perform all acts of ibadah during tahajjud time and even during the day EXCEPT *swalat and touching the glorious Quran directly (ie - without barrier)*. Yes. She can wake up during tahajjud time to make Istigfar or any sunnatic Dhikr and make Du'a (ask Allah anything she want).. If she like, she can perform ablution and if she like she can just make Dhikr, swalatun-nabiyi, Dua, Istigfar etc and go back to catch up with her sleep, and still grab the goodies shared to people who wake up to establish Tahajjud.
Ending this,
The Prophet (PBUH) said: *“O
