_If it always came in the form of a flood, nothing would have survived._
_Then, the raining of water is not all; it is the storage of water on earth that baffles the human ingenuityHis
_Allah Almighty, in Hi infinite mercy, kept the water potable snd hygeinic too care SubhanAllah!_
_For the inhabitants of the earth, human and animal, water was stored in ponds and lakes openly. _Then, the same water was lowered into the earth under the mountains and valleys in the form of a network of hidden pipelines of water accessible to everyone taking the trouble of digging and finding water._

_sometimes, the wind brings mercy and sometimes torment. Sometimes it brings the good news of the clouds that follow it, sometimes it leads the clouds, herding them, scattering them or directing them._

*لآيَـتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ*
*“…are indeed Ayaat for people of understanding.”*

_While the signs of His Oneness can be widely witnessed, only those can grasp them who are the people of understanding_

*Let's continue on this verses*👇.                       *Al-Baqarah Ayaat 165*

*(2:165) Yet there are some who take others as equals to Allah and love them as Allah alone should be loved; but those who (truly) believe, they love Allah more than all else.* *If only the wrong-doers were to perceive now – as they will perceive when they will see the chastisement – that all power belongs to Allah alone, and that Allah is severe in chastisement!*
____*PAGE 4*____.
✍️...

*(2:166) At that moment those who have been followed will disown their followers, and they will see the chastisement, and their resources will be cut asunder.*

*(2:167) And the followers will then say: “Oh if only we might return again, we would disown them as they have disowned us?” Thus Allah will show them their works in a manner causing them bitter regrets. Never will they come out of the Fire.*
____*PAGE 5*____.
✍️...

▪ _In the current ayaat, Allah ﷻ highlights one of the errors made by mankind – loving others as one should love Allah ﷻ Such an error leads one to Shirk – a sin that will never be forgiven unless one sincerely repents from it._
▪ _In these ayaat, Allah ﷻ mentions the condition of the polytheists in this life and their destination in the Hereafter. They appointed equals and rivals with Allah, worshipping them along with Allah and loving them, just as they love Allah._

▪ While Allah ﷻ should have been the center of our attention others have become our main focus. We worry more about what people think of us and what they expect from us rather than what Allah ﷻ thinks of us.
__*PAGE 6*__.
✍️...

▪ Allah ﷻ corrects our error by reminding us who the believers should love the most:
*“But those who believe, love Allah more (than anything else)”*
Because these believers love Allah ﷻ know His greatness, revere Him, believe in His Oneness, they do not associate anything or anyone with Him in worship. They worship Him Alone, depend on Him and they seek help from Him for each and every need.
_*POINT TO REFLECT: Are we truly like this? Do we truly depend on Allah ﷻ as we should? Do we truly believe that He is the Only One Who can ease our worries or do we take our problems to others first and then to Allah? Is there someone or something other than Allah ﷻ that has become the main focus of our lives?*_.
____*PAGE 7*____.
✍️...

▪ _one must not assume that loving one’s spouse, children or family and friends is prohibited. Rather, it is obedience or submission to something other than Allah ﷻ and something that becomes our main focus instead of Allah ﷻ  that is prohibited._
▪ _If there is someone or something who has become the main focus of your life and you obey him while disobeying Allah ﷻ then ask Allah ﷻ to free you of such a slavery._
▪ _Anyone or anything that makes us negligent of the remembrance of Allah ﷻ is a Fitnah. If we are so indulged in raising our children or serving mankind that we miss our prayers, have no time for Qur’an or do anything worthwhile in the way of Allah ﷻ  then we really need to check our heart’s state.
____*PAGE 8*____.
✍️...

▪ Whoever loves someone or something as much as Allah ﷻ has set up a partner with Allah ﷻ and this is an act of Shirk.
▪ This is what Allah ﷻ warns us about
*“If only, those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment that all power belongs to Allah.”*

_If these people knew what they will face and the terrible punishment they are to suffer because of their disbelief and Shirk, then they would shun the deviation that they live by._
▪ We run after other people or sources (we have made "asbaab" (means) our "gods" because we believe they will save us or rescue us from our trials.
__*PAGE 9*__.
✍️...

_Depend on the One Who is the Most Powerful and All Capable. He has the way out for all our problems, so why not turn to Him?_. ▪ *“When those who were followed disown (declare themselves innocent of) those who followed (them),”*
_The deities that they claimed to worship will disown the polytheists_
▪  *“…all their relations will be cut off from them.”*
_there will be no one to save them, and they will have no way of making amends, nor will they find a way to escape the Hellfire.
____*PAGE 10*____.
✍️...

▪ Witnessing the denouncement of their false deities and no means of salvation, the polytheists will request Allah ﷻ to return them to the worldly life, for one more chance, so that they too can declare their innocence from the false deities.
▪ _Ibn Katheer writes that this ayah means if we only had a chance to go back to the life so that we could disown them (their idols, leaders, etc.), shun their worship, ignore them and worship Allah ﷻ Alone instead. _But they utter a lie in this regard, because if they were given the chance to go back, they would only return to what they were prohibited from doing, just as Allah said. This is why Allah ﷻ said:_

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
