*“Thus Allah will show them their deeds as regrets for. them,” .....their works will vanish and disappear.*
▪ *Allah ﷻ  ends the topic by saying, they will never get out of Fire.*
_Because Shirk is a major sin and there is no hope for one’s salvation unless one seeks repentance._
_There is also a eed to spread this because many people love another created being or depend more on others than Allah ﷻ_
*We seek refuge in Allah ﷻ from Shirk and having our deeds wasted.*

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                                       *Al-Baqara 169*

*اِنَّمَا يَاۡمُرُكُمۡ بِالسُّوۡٓءِ وَالۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَاَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ‏*

*(2:169) he only commands you to do evil and commit acts of indecency and to ascribe to Allah the things concerning which you have no knowledge (that He really is their source).*

Allah ﷻ  tells us that Shaytan is an open enemy to us [عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ], he has led many astray. _This is such an important topic that Allah ﷻ has warned us about him in multiple places throughout the Qur’an. For example_

*إِنَّ الشَّيْطَـنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوّاً إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُواْ مِنْ أَصْحَـبِ السَّعِيرِ*
*“Surely, Shaytan is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb [followers] that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire.” [Al-Fatir 35:6]*

▪ Allah ﷻ tells us that He is an enemy so "TAKE him as an enemy." An enemy does not wish any good for its opponent. Its only intention is to destroy the other. Therefore, we should not treat Shaytan lightly or expect any good from him.
▪ Commenting on,  *“…and follow not the footsteps of Shaytan…”*  Qatadah and As-Suddi said that every act of disobedience to Allah ﷻ is among the footsteps of Satan.
▫️ *“He (Satan) commands you only what is evil and Fahsha [sinful], and that you should say about Allah what you know not.”*... Remember, all of us were born on Fitrah [the natural discourse]. When someone strays away from the Right Path it is not that that person is bad but rather he became a victim of Shaytan.

▫️ Shaytan causes separation between spouses, feuds between families and immorality.
▫️ He inspires mankind to commit evil. _And if someone does not guard himself against the whisperings of the Shaytan then such a person is an easy prey._
▫️ Another of Shaytan’s tricks is to inspire mankind to speak negative about one’s self, about others and Allah ﷻ. Many deniers of Islam, in the heat of an argument, utter words that they don’t mean. Whenever you are engaged in a discussion with another person (whether Muslim or non-Muslim) remember to not lose your cool_

▫️ "Innovations" in Deen are also a Satanic deed. He inspired people to forms of worship that were not taught by the messengers and prophets.                                                 ▫️ Arrogance, jealousy, malice are also from this clear enemy of mankind.
▫️ Another trick of Shaytan is to make mankind lose hope. _Allah ﷻ  tells us that we will err. He knows that we are bound to make mistakes which is why one of His attributes is At-Tawwab [the Most Forgiving]_

_After committing a sin Shaytan makes us believe that we are doomed forever and there is no point in returning._ At such a time, we should remind ourselves of the vastness of Allah’s forgiveness if we repent_
▫️ "Depression, fear and anxiety" are also from Shaytan because he does not want us to live a productive life. _*When you feel your emaan is low or fear is taking over remember Allah ﷻ*

*Let's continue a commentary on this verse*👇.                                                        *Al-Baqara 173*

*اِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الۡمَيۡتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحۡمَ الۡخِنۡزِيۡرِ وَمَآ اُهِلَّ بِهٖ لِغَيۡرِ اللّٰهِ​ۚ فَمَنِ اضۡطُرَّ غَيۡرَ بَاغٍ وَّلَا عَادٍ فَلَاۤ اِثۡمَ عَلَيۡهِ​ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏*
*(2:173) He has made unlawful to you only carrion and blood and the flesh of swine and that over which there has been pronounced the name of anyone other than Allah’s.* *But he who is constrained (to eat of them) – and he neither covets them nor exceeds the indispensable limit incurs no sin: Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate*

_Allah ﷻ reminds us that the prohibited must remain prohibited and should never be treated as lawful. This ayah addresses an evil act done by the Mushrikeen– they ate carrion and slaughtered animals in a name other than that of Allah ﷻ_
▪ Allah ﷻ  narrates that only four things are haram:
🔹. Dead animal [maytata (مَيْتَةَ). 
🔹. Blood [dama (دَّمَ)]
🔹. The flesh of swine [lahmal khinzeer (لَحْمَ الْخِنزِيرِ)]
🔹. An animal on which the name of anyone other than Allah has been called [وَمَآأُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ

*🔹. The Dead Animal*
_In Islamic terminology it means an animal not slaughtered in accordance with the requirements of Shar’iah._
_If it dies its own death without having been slaughtered or is killed by choking, aggressive hitting, the goring of horns or by being partly eaten by a wild animal, it falls under the category of dead and remains haram._
▪ A different rule applies to the sea-life, as mentioned in the Qur’an,  *“Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) watergame and its use for food,” [Al-Ma’idah 5: 96]*
_Slaughtering sea-life is not a necessary condition. It is permissible even without slaughtering.
