 Dawah is not for the weak.

Alhamdulillah,

one of the characteristics of people of Jannah is given dawah.

After they call to the path of Allah, remain patient to the insult and slandering of people.

Allah sent a surah of Quran called surah 'Asr.

Allah says 

By Time

Man is indeed in Loss

Except those who believe and do good deeds, and are constant upon the Truth and constant upon patience

Surah 103;1-3.

Imam Shafi' rahimullah said,

If Allah did not send any surah of the Quran apart from this surah, it will be enough for them as evidence.

The salaf will not depart except they will recite to eachother this surah before departing.

Allah says,

An-Nahl 16:125

ٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَٱلۡمَوۡعِظَةِ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِۖ وَجَٰدِلۡهُم بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ

Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

Allah says,

Aal-e-Imran 3:104

وَلۡتَكُن مِّنكُمۡ أُمَّةࣱ يَدۡعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡخَيۡرِ وَيَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ 

And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong,[1] and those will be the successful.

Allah instructed us to have some band of people calling towards what is good and to forbid what is evil for indeed they are successful.

The story of the people of Saturday(Ashabul Sabt), When Allah forbade them to go for fishing on Saturday but after being tested, they saw Saturday was a day the fishes came unlike all days, so they decided to go to fishing on Friday night which is part of Saturday and those who did not advice them to stop seeing this evil, when the punishment of Allah came, they were included except those who called them to stop it
