▪ Ash-Shafi’i, Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Ad-Daraqutni reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
*“We have been allowed two dead things and two bloody things: fish and locusts; and liver and spleen.”*
▪ The fish and the locust are halal without slaughtering, even if they die their own death or get killed by somebody. "However, fish that gets decomposed and starts floating on the surface is haram".
▫️ _Merely being wounded is not enough; it is necessary as a condition that the animal be wounded with some sharp-edged weapon_

▪ *The Difference of opinion over the cheeses (made with the milk) of dead animals.*
_The popular view of the scholars is that it is impure, although the mentioned the fact that the Companions ate from the cheeses made by the Magians (fire worshipers)_
▪ _Ibn Majah reported that Salman said that Allah’s Messenger ﷺ was asked about butter, cheese and fur. He said:_ *“The allowed is what Allah has allowed in His Book and the prohibited is what Allah has prohibited in His Book. What He has not mentioned is a part of what He has pardoned.”*

*ruling about the dead animal*
▪ if an animal wounded by a gunshot dies before it could be slaughtered, it would be taken as an animal that dies from a fatal strike with a baton or rock. this has been called ""mawqudhah"" in surah al-ma’idah ayah 3, and it becomes haram. _however, if the animal is slaughtered before it dies, it would become halal._
▪in ayah 173, "maitah or the dead animal" has been declared "haram in an absolute sense", therefore, everything about it is haram; eating its flesh, buying it or selling it, all included.
____*PAGE 4*____.
✍️...
▪ _*This has been clarified in another ayah Surah Al-Anaam ayah 145* which tells us that th"e eatable parts" of the dead animal are forbidden._
▫️ Therefore, the "bones of the dead animal and the hair, which are not eatables, are clean and their use is permissible.
_*In Surah An-Nahl ayah 80 the use of hair of such animals has been permitted in an absolute sense. The condition of slaughter is not there.*_
▫️ Since the skin or hide of an animal carries impurities such as blood it is forbidden unless tanned. When tanned, it is permissible.
__*page 5*__.
✍️...
▫️ the same command applies to all impurities. it is impermissible to voluntarily feed even an animal with carrion or anything else impure.
_however, should this be placed somewhere and be eaten by a dog or cat on its own that would then be permissible. what is not permissible is to feed them personally._
_*the fat of the dead animal and everything made with it is forbidden. there is no way they can be used. even buying and selling them is forbidden.*_
____*PAGE 6*____.

*🔹. The Blood*
_The word, "dam" meaning blood has been used here in the absolute sense, but in Surah. Al-Anaam ayah 145, it has been subjected to ay yh qualification that is "musfoha" ‘that which flows’._
▫️ Therefore thecongealed blood such as, the kidney or spleen, are clean and permissible.
▫️ Since flowing blood is what is forbidden, the blood that remains on the flesh after slaughtering the animal is clean.
▫️ _As eating or drinking blood is forbidden, its external use is also forbidden. As the buying and selling and seeking any benefit from impurities is forbidden, the buying and selling of blood is forbidden and all income derived from it is also forbidden.
____*PAGE 7*____.
✍️...
*🔹. The Swine is forbidden*
*🔹. The Consecrated Animals..*
▫️ _The *fourth thing forbidden in this ayah is an animal dedicated to anyone other than Allah._
▫️ The slaughtering of an animal to seek the pleasure of anyone other than Allah, despite the fact that the animal was slaughtered by calling the name of Allah, is also forbidden in the Shar’iah.
▪ _Qurtubi mentioned that ‘A’ishah radhiAllahu ‘anha was asked about what non-Muslims slaughter for their feasts and then offer some of it as gifts for Muslims_
_*She said, “Do not eat from what has been slaughtered for that day, (or feast) but eat from their vegetables.”*_...
__*page 8*__.
✍️...
_this verse grants permission to use prohibited things with three stipulations._
_*🔹 first, one must be in a state of extreme compulsion*_
for example, being gravely ill or being so hungry and thirsty that one's very life is in danger, and a prohibited thing is all that is available to save one's life.
_*🔹. second, the person concerned should have no inclination to violate the law of god*_
_*🔹, in consuming the prohibited thing one should not exceed the limits of bare necessity. if a few bites or a few drops are enough to save one's life, one ought not to go beyond the absolute minimum.*_
▪ _mujahid said, “if one is forced by necessity without willful disobedience nor transgressing the set limits_
____*PAGE 9*____.
✍️...
For example, if he didn’t, then he would have to resort to highway robbery, rising against the rulers, or some other kinds of disobedience to Allah, then the permission applies to him. If one does so transgressing the limits, or continually, or out of disobedience to Allah, then the permission does not apply to him even if he is in dire need.”
▪ _*When one is in a dire state, he finds both dead animals and food that belongs to someone else (stealing it would result in his hands being cut or other harm), then it is "not allowed" for him "to eat the dead animals.*".
____*PAGE 10*____.
✍️...
▪ Ibn Majah reported that ‘Abbad bin Shurahbil Al-Ghubari said,
_“One year we suffered from famine. I came to Madinah and entered a garden. I took some grain that I cleaned, and ate, then I left some of it in my garment_. The owner of the garden came, roughed me up and took possession of my garment. I then went to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ and told him what had happened. He said to the man:_*“You have not fed him when he was hungry (or he said starving) nor have you taught him if he was ignorant.”*
*The Prophet ﷺ commanded him to return ‘Abbad’s garment to him, and to offer him a Wasq (around 180 kilograms) – or a half Wasq – of food.*
