 *Wrong Blaming*

[[-Sixth Outing-]]
------------------

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

We should all believe in Qadr (divine decree) - that's, knowing & believing that what has passed you by, was not going to benefit you. In other words, Allah is in control of our affairs and creates means and outcomes.

Now,

*How do we balance destiny with planning in life and our actions?*

The Prophet (pbuh) reminded us:

‘If something befalls you, do not say, ‘If only I had done otherwise,’ but rather say, ‘Allah’s Will be done,’ for *'‘if only’'* opens the door to Satan’s mischief.’ 📚(Bukhari)

Servants of Allah!

Our duty is to work to the best of our ability, utilizing the means around us and ultimately having trust in Allah (swt). And sometimes, this will require us to pursue something and never give up, and sometimes it will require us to take a different route. How do we know which is the ‘correct’ way?

Sometimes Allah addresses this mentality in the things that happen to us. I recently signed up for something that I thought would be beneficial. When I weighed the pros and cons, what pushed me to sign up was the thought: ‘What if I regret not doing it?’ The experience turned out to be terrible. However, had I not signed up, I would have assumed that I would have benefited, and regretted my decision!

This does not mean that our actions have no effect. Allah (swt) wills that,, that our actions, or inactions, have a certain consequence. So, for instance,, deciding not to study for an exam because *‘Allah’s decree that i will pass’* will most likely cause us to fail😃. Yes. Allah (swt) has created certain laws in this universe which link causes and effects.

Therefore,

If we find that we were in fact lacking in effort or lacking in our actions, we must take those lessons and apply them to future experiences, but do not regret the past plssss.. Also, don't say - *My Enemies Are At Work*.. For Allah (swt) is al-Ḥakam, and it is important to know that His decree cannot be overturned.

Now,

*How do we understand free will if Allah has already ordained everything?*

First, we have to understand that Allah is all aware. It is a grave mistake to try to apply our limitations to Allah, the Limitless.

Servants of Allah!

Allah has created the future and understands intimately what it holds, just as He has created our past and present. Even though Allah knows and has ordained what will happen in the future, we still have free will in the present. We have the will to choose our good or bad intentions and actions whether or not they attain the intended result.

For us, not knowing what the future holds motivates us to act, to take advantage of our free will. if we already knew what the future held, we would never use our free will to strive for anything. And our striving to do good is what we are rewarded for.

Allah tells us in the Quran:

"Whoever works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision); and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)". 📚(16:97)

*Over stepping the limits set by Allah:*

At the same time that we have free will to strive for the good in the future, we should not over step the limits set.....

To be continued..

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
