Question asked does Islam allows keeping dogs?

Question asked does Islam allows keeping dogs? Alhamdulillah, in Islam keeping dogs is haraam but allowed under some conditions. But without any condition to take dogs as pet is haraam. As reported in hadith, Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever keeps a dog, one Qirat of the reward of his good deeds is deducteddaily, unless the dog is used for guarding a farm or cattle." Abu Huraira (in another narration) said from the Prophet, "unless it is used for guarding sheep or farms, or for hunting." Narrated Abu Hazim from Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A dog for guarding cattle or for hunting." Sahih al-Bukhari 2322. Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If someone keeps a dog neither for guarding livestock, nor for hunting, his good deeds will decrease (in reward) by two Qirats a day Sahih al-Bukhari 5482. So anyone who keeps a dog without any reason will have his reward reduce each day that is one qi...

LET'S INCREASE OUR SADAQAH ESPECIALLY TO OUR FAMILY FOR THE RAMADHAN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 21st day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Thursday,  20th February 2025. *_LET'S INCREASE OUR SADAQAH ESPECIALLY TO OUR FAMILY FOR THE RAMADHAN_*. BismilLah.  As Ramadhan approaches, let's strive to support our families with money or food items to help them during Ramadhan. By doing so, you are helping their dunya, but they, in return, will help you better for your aakhira through dua for you. The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of ALLAH is like a seed [of grain], which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And ALLAH multiplies [HIS reward] for whom HE wills. And ALLAH is all-Encompassing and Knowing. This is a parable that ALLAH Azzawajal made of the mu...

*Visiting the Sick* [[--- Part Three --- ]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In hadeeth Qudsi, it was narrated that, On the day of judgement, Allah (swt) will say: *‘O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me.’* He will say, ‘O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?’ 📚(Saheeh Muslim) Servants of Allah! Islam invites us to the good deeds and warns us to stay away from bad ones. One of the good deeds is to visit the sick and depressed. When people visit each other in their bad times or during their hardships then the bond of brotherhood and friendship are build up. Visiting the sick is the clearest signs of mutual love, mercy, and empathy on Muslim brother.  More than that, visiting the sick is a major responsibility that every single Muslim is obl...

*Visiting the Sick* [[--- Part Two --- ]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم On the day of judgement, Allah (swt) will say: *‘O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me.’* He (the son of Adam) will say, ‘O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?’ 📚(Saheeh Muslim) Now, *Visiting The Sick (Ziyara Al-Marid):* It is a Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to visit the sick. We should always visit those who are sick because it helps us to reflect and take heed, as those who are ill are close to Allah Ta'ala. We have only to consider that the sick person has no one to call but Allah, nothing to reflect on but Allah, and his condition reminds us of the blessing of health. Now, *Who is a sick person whom it is obligatory to visit?* It is the sick person ...

The rule of Ramadhan before we welcome it.

The rule of Ramadhan before we welcome it. Alhamdulillah, every Muslim must know the rules of every worship in Islam before he does it so as not to do it out of ignorance and without any reward. As we know, every deed in Islam is not accepted without intention. As reported from hadith of Umar ibn Khattab R.A saying, Every deeds are judged by intentions and everyone will be rewarded according to his intentions. Sahiih  And from the hadith, The mother of the believers, Hafsah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever does not form his intention to fast before to fajr, his fasting will not be accepted.” Related by thefive Imams, but At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa’i consider it to be related by Hafsah and not connected to the Prophet (ﷺ). Imam Ad-Daraqutni transmitted, "No fasting is accepted for one who does not form the intention (to fast) the night before.” Bulugh ul Maram. Book 5, Hadith 677. So one makes intention before fajr for fasting. So if the moon of Ramadh...

The purpose of Ramadan

The purpose of Ramadan. The month of Ramaḍān [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’ān, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the crescent of] the month,[1] let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. The month of Ramadhan is the month of Qur'an. And Musl...

Alhamdulillah, let's remind ourselves of the story of kindness.

The story to reflect. Alhamdulillah, let's remind ourselves of the story of kindness. There once lived a poor man who was walking and on his way,  an old man appeared to him and said to him, I needed something to eat. The poor man gave the old man something while he was also in need of it. So after the old man had taken what he gave him. He turned away and as he was standing the old man hold his hand and said come to my house. The man was surprised how this man said to him to come to his house  So he didn't denied and accepted. He came to the old man's house and was amazed that the man had a big mansion and luxurious life. So he was amazed and said to him, Why did you turn to me for help? The old man said I want to help others but first I wanted to see their heart and how they are. A lesson for us is that we have to get a kind heart for there is nothing like kindness to others

Importance of giving charity to the needy and poor.

Importance of giving charity to the needy and poor. Alhamdulillah,.let's  learn the habit of giving out to those in need as ramadhan is approaching. The messenger of Allah peace be upon him used to give out to people and those in need but when ramadhan comes, he even do it more like the speed of a wind. And charity relinquish the anger of Allah upon a person and also protects us from calamity As reported in hadith, Anas bin Malik narrated that ::. the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed charity extinguishes the Lord's anger and it protects against the evil death.""
