So basically Marriage is a Commitment to ALLAH Azzawajal before It Is a Commitment to Each Other. Marriage in Islam is therefore an amaanah (trust).  FAJR REMINDER: WHEN FALSEHOOD FALLS BEFORE THE TRUTH By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 28, 1448 (10-September-2026) Fir’aun had challenged Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) to a contest, and the appointed day eventually arrived. It was a well-known day—the day of their festival—and the people had gathered in large numbers. Fir’aun sat upon his throne, surrounded by the elite officials of his kingdom, while his subjects stood on his right and his left. Then Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) came forward, leaning upon his stick and accompanied by his brother, Prophet Hārūn (‘Alayhi Salām). The magicians (sorcerers) stood before Fir’aun in rows, while he encouraged and urged them to do their very best on that day. They, too, were eager to please him, especially because he had promised them a reward. This reminds me, Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah, a prominent and wealthy companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), once became seriously ill. The illness was severe and persistent. His mother was deeply distressed. While at his bedside, she made a vow (a Nadhr). She promised that if Allah cured her son, she would donate a large number of date-filled purses (a significant amount of wealth) specifically to provide water for the pilgrims in Mecca. By the grace of Allah (swt), Sa'd recovered from his illness. Sa'd mother, true to her word, took action.  FAJR REMINDER: THE GREAT CONTEST By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 27, 1448 (9-September-2026) Prophet Mūsā and his brother Hārūn (‘Alayhimā Salām) went to meet Fir’aun and his chiefs. They first admonished him and called him to the truth. However, rather than accepting the Message of Allāh, Fir’aun responded with stubbornness, arrogance, and false arguments. He engaged Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) in a lengthy debate, attempting to reject and undermine the truth that had been brought to him. After Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) answered his questions, he showed Fir’aun and his chiefs the clear miracles and overwhelming proofs that Allāh had given him. These signs confirmed the truth of his Message: that Allāh is One and that His Commandments must be followed. BismilLah.  After Shaytaan, one of the greatest dangers to a Muslim is the careless wasting of the limited time ALLAH Azzawajal has given us. Shaytaan himself often uses wasted time as a doorway to greater sins and missed opportunities. ALLAH Azzawajal swears by time: وَالْعَصْرِ ۝ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ “By time! Indeed, mankind is truly in loss.” Qur’an 103:1–2. Notice that ALLAH Azzawajal did not merely say that people lose time. HE says the human being is in loss.  FAJR REMINDER: THE BROTHER WHO SHARED HIS MISSION By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 26, 1448 (8-September-2026) It was said that Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) missed his homeland, Egypt, and his relatives. Therefore, he decided to return and visit them secretly, without the knowledge of Fir’aun and his people. So, he gathered his family and the flocks that his father-in-law had given him and set out on his journey on a cold, dark, and rainy night. Along the way, they stopped to camp. Whenever Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) attempted to kindle a fire, however, he was unable to do so. He was surprised by this, and while he was in that state, he saw a fire burning in the distance, in the direction of Ṭūr (i.e., Mount Ṭūr).  FAJR REMINDER: THE JOURNEY TO MADYAN (II) By: Umm Affān Rabī' Al-Awwal 25, 1448 (7-September-2026) When the two women whom Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) had helped returned home, their father was surprised that they had arrived so early. He asked them about the reason for their early return, and they informed him about Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām) and what he had done for them. Thus, he sent one of his daughters to invite Prophet Mūsā (‘Alayhi Salām). Allāh (ﷻ) says: فَجَاءَتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِي عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا  “Then there came to him one of the two women, walking shyly.
