*A brief biography of Dr. 'Ā'id al-Qarni, the author of "The Happiest Woman in the World" (A Treasure Chest of Reminders)*
➖He is Dr. 'Ā'id Ibn 'Abdullāh Ibn 'Ā'id Āl-Majdū al-Qarni.
➖He was born in 1379 A.H.
➖He obtained his Bachelor's degree from the College of Usūl ad-Dīn in Imām Muhammad Ibn Sa'ūd Islamic University.
➖He obtained his Master's degree in Prophetic Hadīth in 1408 A.H. The title of his thesis was "al-Bid'ah wa Atharuha fid-Dirāyah war-Riwāyah (Innovation and its effects on Understanding and Reporting)."
➖He obtained his Doctorate from Imām Muhammad Ibn Sa'ūd Islamic University in 1422 A.H, with a thesis entitled "al-Mufahhim lima ashkala min Talkhīs Sahīh Muslim like al-Qurtubi - Dirāsah wa Tahqīq (Explanation of difficult passages in al-Qurtubi's summary of Sahīh Muslim - A study).
➖He has recorded more than 800 audiocassettes of Khutbahs (sermons), lessons, lectures and soirees.
➖He has written on Hadīth, Tafsīr, Fiqh, Arabic literature, Sīrah and biography.
➖He has attended dozens of lectures and soirees, and has attended conferences organised by the Muslim Arab Youth Association (MAYA) and the Qur-ān and Sunnah society in the USA. He also lectured at literary and sports clubs, universities and seminars.
