"Do not put off todays work till tomorrow."
Hadrat Umar Al Farooq (radiallaahu anhu)

This disease of Procrastination ( always delaying in taking action) is the biggest enemy to success, Be it wordily or Spiritual we keep waiting for the right time.

The right time to lose weight, the right time to quit smoking, the right time to increase our worship, the right time to open a business, the right time to start a course....
The time never arrives ..years & decades pass by & we wonder why we have failed in both our wordily & spiritual affairs.

An author researched to see what was the thing that made people successful & guess what? They were people of action.
The people who failed were often very intelligent, had all manner of degrees from university. But they were victims of procrastination.
Whilst others who were of average intelligence, no formal education achieved success, simply by taking action.

If this is what is required in the affairs of the dunyah......what about the affairs
of deen! Surely to achieve success we need to act on what we learn & apply it in our daily lives.

SOME TIPS
-̶̯͡♈̷̴♥̸̸̸̨̨̨͡✽-̶̯͡♈̷̴

1) As u awake in the morning put urself in a positive mind set by counting the blessings of اللّه Subhana Ta'ala thus emulating the beautiful example of our beloved Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam, & asking اللّه
Subhana Ta'ala to Grant u a successful day full of blessings.

2) Try to start ur work after Fajr . Our beloved Nabi sallallaahu alayhi wasallam made dua to Allah, “O Allah, bless my Ummah in their early morning endeavors.”

3) Procrastination is a learned habit; habits are formed by repeated acts. So the best way to fight procrastination is to take immediate steps to do the thing one is postponing. So every time one is tempted to procrastinate, one must do whatever it takes to do just the opposite. It may be hard in the beginning, but by repeating it over & over, one learns to break the habit. This process must continue until one has learned the new habit & thus it becomes a second nature.

4). Manage & organize ur time well because u will be accountable for it . Do not delay in doing any good deed. Work for the hereafter .
Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam has mentioned ,
“The son of Adam will not be
dismissed from before his Lord
on the Day of Resurrection until
he has been questioned about
five things:
his life aиϑ how he spent it…. (Sunan at-Tirmidhi)

4) Turn to اللَّهُ Subhana wa Ta'ala constantly. Try ur best in not following ur desires & giving in to temptations. A moment of forbidden pleasure leads to a lifetime of regret!
Always seek His help in fighting laziness & helplessness through the following prayer (Du`a’) ( mentioned in Bukhari):

للَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْهَمِّ وَالْحُزْنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allah-humma innee a‛oodhu bika mi-nal-ham-mi wal-ḥazan, wal-‛ajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa ḍa-la‛id-dai-ni, wa ghalaba-tir-rijaal

‘O Allaah, I take refuge in You from
anxiety & sorrow,
weakness & laziness,
miserliness & cowardice,
the burden of debts & from being over powered by men.’
آمـــــــــين يا رب العالمـــــــــين‎

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
