 *DUA SEEKING REFUGE FROM THE HEAT OF THE FIRE AND THE PUNISHMENT OF THE GRAVE*


It was narrated that Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:


*اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَرَبَّ إِسْرَافِيلَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ*


Allahumma, rabba jibra'ila, wa mika'ila wa rabba israfila, a'udhu bika min harrin-nari wa min adhabil-qabr 


(O Allah, Lord of Jibra'il and Mika'il and Lord of Israfil, I seek refuge in You from the heat of the Fire and from the torment of the grave)


[Sunan an-Nasa'i 5519, Ahmed, 40/380 No 24324, Bayhaqi 109, and Abu Yala, 8/213 No 4779, classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Nasaa'i 3/1121, and al-Silsilah al-Saheehah no 1544]
