Remember the Following when deciding how often you want to have relations

Bear the following points in mind when choosing how often you want to have relations, be it the day or at night.It is authentically reported that Rasulullaah صلى الله عليه وسلم engaged in sexual relations with his wives at various times of the day and night.

1. Choose an appropriate time, even if the urge is overpowering. If for example you have not performed your Thuhr Salaah and the time of Asr is nearly in, then do not choose that time to have relations, rather perform your obligation to Allaah, then your obligation to your wife.

2. When she is not experiencing Haidh.

3. When the urge is there. Let’s say you have set a time for having relations, but when that time come she is not in the mood or you are not in the mood, then after mutual consultation, do not have any relations. Sexual activity can only take place if the urge exists and if the couple have the necessary agility and are 

relaxed. 

As a result, Sharia’h has not legislated a time in which they should engage in sexual relations. However, there are preferred times to have coitus.
