Moses was tasked with conveying to them that it will only rained after the sinner had diclared/ distance himself. Prophet Musah was amazed when it rained moments later for which he asked Allah. Allah azza wa jalla made it clear to him that upon his announcement, the man seeked for regretted and asked for forgiveness immediately for which was accepted. Prophet Musah begged  Allah to reveal the man's identity to him. Allah azza wa jalla petitioned him that , HE concealed his for fourthy years and will and won't do that now even after repented. A story of a son had more confidence that his dad is in Jannah only to amazed to hear he is in Jahanam.

The story even claimed he use to drop a stone in a container-like object anytime his dad prays. Upon hearing this he called on Prophet to show his the container filled with the good deeds. Shockingly he can only find a stone which means only one of his swalat from his entire life was accepted. This story is claimed to be true while others dispute. Other stories can be provided on this story ranging from the Prostitute who gave water to the dog and the sahaba who killed an infidel who announced Islam once he is to be killed. We shouldn't feel certain of our good deeds and laugh at the lesser good deeds of others, perhaps theirs may be of higher stance in the stance of Allah. *May Allah always guide us....Amin*..

"اِنَّا فَتَحۡنَا لَکَ فَتۡحًا مُّبِیۡنًا ۙ﴿۱﴾

(O Esteemed Beloved!) Surely, We decreed for you a clear victory (and the dominance of Islam so that your great struggle might be completed with success),

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 357:

Narrated Aslam:

While Allah's Apostle was proceeding at night during one of his journeys and 'Umar bin Al-Khattab was traveling beside him, 'Umar asked him about something but Allah's Apostle did not reply. He asked again, but he did not reply, and then he asked (for the third time) but he did not reply. On that, 'Umar bin Al-Khattab said to himself, "Thakilat Ummu 'Umar (May 'Umar's mother lose her son)! I asked Allah's Apostle three times but he did not reply." 'Umar then said, "I made my camel run faster and went ahead of the people, and I was afraid that some Qur'anic Verses might be revealed about me. But before getting involved in any other matter. I heard somebody calling me. I said to myself, 'I fear that some Qur'anic Verses have been revealed about me,' and so I went to Allah's Apostle and greeted him.

He (Allah's Apostle ) said, 'Tonight a Sura has been revealed to me, and it is dearer to me than that on which the sun rises (i.e. the world)' Then he recited: "Verily, We have given you a manifest victory." (48.1)

The second Caliphate Umar was traveling alongside the Noble Prophet. He asked Prophet a question but He didn't reply him. He repeated the question thrice  but He still didn't reply him. Umar then feared that he had wronged and that a chapter/verse will be revealed for which he made his camel run faster. It was during these times this verse/chapter was revealed to our Noble Prophet. Umar feared a verse will be revealed condemning his act as verses were used to counter instances. This ranges from the verse in Baqarah we had earlier talked about, which remind/ remind Umar to forgoes the Jews and and disassociate himself as they take Angel Jibriel as their enemy.

"فَارۡتَقِبۡ یَوۡمَ تَاۡتِی السَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۱۰﴾

So wait for the Day when the sky will cause a clear smoke to appear,.             [44:11] Al-Dukhān-الدُّخَان
"یَّغۡشَی النَّاسَ ؕ ہٰذَا  عَذَابٌ  اَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۱﴾

The Day when We will seize with the Greatest Seizure, (that Day) We shall certainly exact revenge.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 346:

Narrated 'Abdullah:

It (i.e., the imagined smoke) was because, when the Quraish refused to obey the Prophet, he asked Allah to afflict them with years of famine similar to those of (Prophet) Joseph. So they were stricken with famine and fatigue, so much so that they ate even bones. A man would look towards the sky and imagine seeing something like smoke between him and the sky because of extreme fatigue. So Allah revealed:--

'Then watch you for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke plainly visible, covering the people; this is a painfull of torment.' (44.10-11)

Then someone (Abu Sufyan) came to Allah's Apostle and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Invoke Allah to send rain for the tribes of Mudar for they are on the verge of destruction." On that the Prophet said (astonishingly) "Shall I invoke Allah) for the tribes of Mudar? Verily, you are a brave man!" But the Prophet prayed for rain and it rained for them. Then the Verse was revealed.

'But truly you will return (to disbelief).' (44.15) (When the famine was over and) they restored prosperity and welfare, they reverted to their ways (of heathenism) whereupon Allah revealed:

'On the Day when We shall seize you with a Mighty Grasp. We will indeed (then) exact retribution.' (44.16) The narrator said, "That was the day of the Battle of Badr."

We all know Islam faced many challenges when it emerged. Part of it was a ban on Prophet's family. They were not granted other relatives in marriage. They were once banned from the community and chose to live outskirt. Abu Jahl was a torn on the flesh for Islam. He once burned a house because they accepted Islam. He was also the first person to killed in the way of Allah. He however didn't live long but died in battle of Badr. Later the Quraish still refuse to obey the Holy Prophet.  Prophet therefore prayed to Allah to affliction them with years of famine.

They were stricken with famine and fatigue, so much so that they ate even bones. A man will look towards the sky and imagine seeing something like smoke between him and the sky because of the extreme fatigue. It was at this that the first two verses we're revealed. Abu Sufyan who later fathered Muawiyah, the Caliphate after Ali came complaining to the Holy Prophet. He begged Prophet to invite Allah for rain for which it rained after the invocation. This Abu Sufyan was the same person who's daughter married Prophet after her husband renounce Islam. This happened when the Muslims migrated to Abysynia.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
