Holding firmly to Qur'an and Sunnah.
Alhamdulillah, A believer should always try to perform his ibadah(worship) based upon the Qur'an and Sunnah.
As Allah says in Qur'an,
An-Nisa' 4:59
O you who have believed, obey Allāh and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allāh and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allāh and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.
Allah says,
Al-Anfal 8:24
O you who have believed, respond to Allāh and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allāh intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.
Allah says,
Aal-e-Imran 3:31
Say, [O Muḥammad], "If you should love Allāh, then follow me, [so] Allāh will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful."
An-Nisa' 4:64
And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allāh. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muḥammad], and asked forgiveness of Allāh and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allāh Accepting of Repentance and Merciful.
So Allah did not send upon us the messenger Of Allah PBUH except to believe in him and accept his message and whatever he commands us, we do it and whatever he prohibits or abstain us from, we abstain from it completely.
May Allah safeguards our Eeman and directs us upon the right creed. Aamin
