Alhamdulillah, neglecting the 'Asr prayer means one has neglected his families and wealth and everything.

As reported,

Narrated Ibn `Umar:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever misses the `Asr prayer (intentionally) then it is as if he lost his familyand property."

Sahih al-Bukhari 552.

As reported again,

There is a prayer among prayers ('Asr) and one who misses it is as if his family and property have been ruined."

Sahih Muslim 2886.

Why is the 'Asr prayer given priority?

This is because it is the prayer that many people do misses it especially during trading at market and that is when business is taking place.

So the Messenger of Allah PBUH, This prayer is important and made people to know it's dignity.

This is to perform it in jama'ah(congregations)
