*Let's continue on how this verse was revealed*👇.                                      [33:5] Al-Aḥzāb-

Call them (the adopted sons) after their fathers’ (names). That is most just in the sight of Allah. So if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brothers in the Din (Religion) and your friends. And there is no sin on you for what you said by mistake, but (that will be a sure sin) which your hearts intend. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.

.Volume 6, Book 60, Number 305:

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar:

We used not to call Zaid bin Haritha the freed slave of Allah's Apostle except Zaid bin Muhammad till the Qu'anic Verse was revealed: "Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers. That is more than just in the Sight of Allah." (33.5)

Few forgotten names in the household of Prophet were Zaid and Barakah. Barakah was who served in the household of Prophet before he was born. When Prophet's dad(Abdullah) died she didn't know how to disclose it to Amina(Prophet's mum). She played instrumental role and in the household. When Prophet was six or so, his mum visited Abdullah's grave before returning to get sick and died leaving the young Muhummed. Zaid was also a slave who was in the custody of Khadijjah. He was called Zaid bin Muhammad before the Advent of this verse, after which it was prohibited.

This doesn't only goes to the slaves but to The married women too. Unlike Christians, Islam prohibit adding ur husbands name to ur name after marriage. Your father continues to be your father and that should be so. Let's not fall to the disbelievers code of life. This Zaid was the same Zaid who lost his life in the Battle of Mut'a along with Jafar bun Abu Talid and one other Commander before Khalid bun Walid was made a Commander. He stratagize the army and won the battle which was almost lost.

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                           [5:101] Al-Māidah-

O believers! Do not ask about things (on which the Qur’an is quiet,) for if they are disclosed to you, they may put you in strain (and you will be repelled by them). But if you enquire about them whilst the Qur’an is being sent down, they will be disclosed to you (i.e., fixated through revealing the commandments, but this will put an end to your choice of discretion, binding you to only one command). Allah has (so far) overlooked (these matters and questions), and Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Forbearing.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 145:

Narrated Anas:

The Prophet delivered a sermon the like of which I had never heard before. He said, "If you but knew what I know then you would have laughed little and wept much." On hearing that, the companions of the Prophet covered their faces and the sound of their weeping was heard.

A man said, "Who is my father?" The Prophet said, "So-and-so." So this Verse was revealed: "Ask not about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble." (5.101)

✍️...

Unnecessary questioning is disliked In Islam as well. Prophet once delivered an interesting sermon. He told them they will laugh little and weep more if u know what I know. On hearing this the submitive sahaabas started weeping. A man then stood up asking Prophet if he knows his dad. On that this verse was revealed. This verse prohibit us in asking questions which answers may cause distress on us. One reason the children of Israel found it difficult in finding the specified cow was due to their questions. Prophet Musah only told them to bring cow but they keep asking which kind, color and so on type of cow should it be.

Allah also made their task difficult due to that. As Muslims, questions which answers were provided in Hadith and Quran should only be asked. For instance, asking who Prophet Musah's mum name, and asking of the first food Prophet ate when born. These are issues of insignificant to Islam because it is hardly u get their answers. We are always discouraged from asking for reasons we are commanded/ prohibited to do some acts. Because Allah azza will never command us unless it is better for us.

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                           *[25:70] Al-Furqān-

But whoever repents and believes and does good deeds, so these are the people whose evil deeds Allah will change into good ones. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 288:

Narrated Said bin Jubair:

Ibn Abza said to me, "Ask Ibn 'Abbas regarding the Statement of Allah:

'And whoever murders a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell.' (4.93)

And also His Statement: '...nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause .....except those who repent, believe, and do good deeds.' " (25.68-70) So I asked Ibn 'Abbas and he said, "When this (25.68-69) was revealed, the people of Mecca said, "We have invoked other gods with Allah, and we have murdered such lives which Allah has made sacred, and we have committed illegal sexual intercourse. So Allah revealed:

'Except those who repent, believe, and do good deeds and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.' (25.70)

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go. All the bandits were amazed of what their leader did. Three days later, the man whose sister was there and everyone in the sister knew her brother was wicked man. So every man was sacred. So a stranger walking by saw his sister and he felt in love with her. She went to her and said I wa...
