Need a Blessing?* [[---- Part 1 ----]]

 *Need a Blessing?*

[[---- Part 1 ----]]
------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Every Muslim believes that Allah (SWT) is the source of all blessings (barakah). These blessings are not just in wealth, but in time, health, peace of mind, and spiritual contentment. However, these blessings are not unconditional. They are a trust from Allah, and our actions can either increase them or cause them to be diminished or even removed.

This reminds me,

Mustapha was a man driven by ambition. He was intelligent, hardworking, and charismatic. But in his heart, he believed his success was 99% his own doing. His faith was a compartment, a part of his identity, but not the core driver of his decisions.

His business began to skyrocket. He became extraordinarily wealthy. He moved his family into a mansion, drove the finest cars, and his children attended the most exclusive schools. By every worldly metric, Mustapha had "made it."

But a strange emptiness began to creep in.

The money flowed in, but it brought no joy. Instead of feeling grateful, he felt constant anxiety about losing it. He hardly give sadaqah. He became suspicious of everyone, seeing potential threats in friends and business partners. His wealth became a prison of worry, not a source of comfort.

His wife grew distant, feeling she lived with a stranger who was always stressed and preoccupied. His children, raised with immense privilege, became entitled and disrespectful, seeing their father not as a role model but as a bank😃. The mansion was filled with expensive things, but the sound of laughter was rare.

Despite affording the best healthcare, he developed a chronic, unexplained illness. Doctors were baffled. It wasn't life-threatening, but it was a constant source of pain and fatigue.

The pinnacle of his crisis came one night. He stood on the balcony of his luxurious penthouse, looking down at the city lights. He had achieved everything he had ever wanted. And yet, he felt a crushing, profound emptiness. He had everything to live with, but nothing to live for. His success was a beautifully wrapped box with nothing inside. His prayers felt like words hitting the ceiling and falling back down. The connection was gone.

He had built a kingdom, but it was hollow because it was built without seeking the approval and blessings of the King of all kings.

A series of financial shocks hit the market. Deals he had counted on fell through inexplicably. Partners he trusted betrayed him. The empire he built so shrewdly began to crumble with astonishing speed. It was during this rock-bottom moment, sitting in his near-empty office, that he truly understood.

He hadn't been successful because he lacked Allah's blessings; he had been given a period of respite, a chance to turn back. The blessings had been slowly removed, not as a punishment, but as a consequence. The Barakah was gone. His health, his family harmony, his mental peace—all had stopped "working well" long before his business failed.

Tears😢 streamed down his face as he genuinely repented. He got up, performed a slow, heartfelt prayer, begging Allah (swt) for forgiveness and guidance. He didn't ask for his wealth back; he asked for his peace back. He asked for Barakah (Allah's blessings) in his life.

My People,

Punishment of sins includes that they cause blessings to be removed and calamity and hardship to descend. Blessings are taken from the servant because...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
