Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 5*

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 5* *NOT EVERYTHING IS WORTH TALKING ABOUT* In my experience as a married person, I must say that talking about everything you see at home as a husband is quite problematic. Some men just can't keep quiet. They find everything worth speaking about. Complaining a lot leads to disrespect. And it is a sign of not being considerate. Only Almighty Allāh is perfect. And we are all not perfect in one aspect or another. When a wife has a lot of home chores to achieve, sometimes you overlook her weakness and failures, not because you should not correct her, but because it is not easy to run a house. Sometimes when she is too occupied doing one thing or another, you can chip in as a husband to assist. Take, for instance, you saw some dirt on the floor, you don't need to always point at such things, simply, pick it up and throw it away. Some men might feel arrogant to do so, well, give a try and see the result. But when yo...

AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 143*

﷽ *AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 143* *THE BATTLE OF AL-AHZĀB continues* Jābir narrated: "We were digging (the trench) on the day of Al-Khandaq (the trench) and we came across a big solid rock. We went to the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) and said: "Here is a rock appearing across the trench." He said: "I am coming down." Then he got up with a stone tied to his belly for we had not eaten anything for three days. The Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) took the spade and struck the big solid rock and it became like sand." Al-Barrā Ibn 'Azib said: "On the day of Al-Khandaq (Trench) we came across a big solid rock that spades couldn't break. We informed the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) of that. He came and took the spade, said, 'in the name of Allāh and gave one stroke to the rock. Thereupon he said: "Allāh is the Greatest. I will be...

_HAPPY MARRIAGE, LIVING WITH PEACE AND HARMONY AT HOME

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 4th day of Jumaada Al-Thani (Wednesday 29th of January, 2020). *_HAPPY MARRIAGE, LIVING WITH PEACE AND HARMONY AT HOME_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAAH says in the holy Quran; “And among HIS Signs is this, that HE created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them, and HE has put between you affection and MERCY. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.” [Al-Qur’an 30: 21]. Marriage is an institute which can be as firm as a rock or weak as a thread, it is up to the partners to make it either one.  We have to learn to be tolerant of each other for the MERCY of ALLAH to flow in the marriage. Marriage is a great Sunnah and an act of worship.  It is the responsibility of both husband and wife to give 100% effort to make their marriage successful and their home peaceful and Islamic solely for ALLAH sake. At the time of concern and tension in domestic affairs, please review your li...

ISLAMIC SOLUTION TO FORGETFULNESS

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 3rd day of Jumaada Al-Thani (Tuesday 28th of January, 2020). *_ISLAMIC SOLUTION TO FORGETFULNESS_*. *Bismillah*. Frequently remembering ALLAAH, may HE be glorified, by reciting dhikr, tasbeeh (saying ‘Subhan ALLAAH ’), tahmeed (‘Al-hamdu Lillaah’), tahleel (‘Laa ilaaha ILL-ALLAAH ’) and takbeer (‘Allaahu akbar’), etc. ALLAAH says: “…And remember your Lord when you forget…” [al-Kahf 18:24]. Not eating too much, because eating too much makes one sleep too much and become lazy, and it dulls the senses, besides exposing one to the risk of physical diseases. Most of the diseases which we see result from food and drink. Some of the scholars have mentioned certain foods which increase the memory, such as drinking honey and eating raisins and chewing certain kinds of gum resin. Imaam al-Zuhri said: “You should eat honey because it is good for the memory.” Too much acidic food is one of the causes of laziness and weak memory. *_We ask ALLA...

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 4*

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 4* *PUTTING DIVORCE INTO WRITING* When Allah Ta'alah says something or instructs us to do something, it is because it is good for us. Take, for instance, the issue of writing divorce on paper. It is encouraged to do so, because when it is not written, later the couple can come back and deny the divorce, therefore it creates confusion. So when divorce is initiated, make sure it is written, so that in the end, one of the couples will not bring something else. Some men are very dramatic, they divorce without thinking about the consequences. Later, they realised their rush or mistake, so they want to revoke it. It is, of course, revokable, but revoked it before it is too late. So when it is late, they give themselves fatwa that they can have sex no problem. No! that is Haram. When you are divorced she is not yours and you are not hers. Allah will treat you like adulterers. *{To be continued In-sha-Allāh (If Allāh Wi...

﷽ *AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 142* *THE BATTLE OF AL-AHZĀB continues* Anas reported: "When Allāh's Messenger went to the trench, he saw Immigrants and Supporters digging it in a cold morning. They had no slaves that could do this task for them. Noting their fatigue and hunger, he said: "O Allāh! There is no true life but the life of the Afterworld. So forgive Immigrants and Supporters." (Narrated by Al-Bukhāry) They replied: We are the people who pledged Muhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him) to practice Jihad as long as we live." Al-Bara Ibn 'Azib narrated: "On the day (of the battle) of Al-Ahzāb I saw the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) carrying earth, and the earth was covering the whiteness of his abdomen. He was saying: "Without You O Allāh! We would have got no guidance, given charity, or prayed. So bless us with tranquility and make firm our feet when...

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 39 and 40

Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in Al-Mihrab (a praying place or a private room), (saying): "Allah gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John), confirming (believing in) the Word from Allah [i.e. the creation of 'Iesa (Jesus), the Word from Allah ("Be!" - and he was!)], noble, keeping away from sexual relations with women, a Prophet, from among the righteous." *COMMENTARY* Notice: "a Word from Allāh", not "the Word of Allāh", the epithet that mystical Christianity uses for Jesus. As stated in Sūra Āl-'Imrān, verse 59, Jesus was created by a miracle, by Allāh's word "Be", and he was. ﷽ *Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 40:* قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَ...

REFLECTIONS

*REFLECTIONS* 📌The period of waiting patiently for release from suffering is an act of worship. ~ Imam Al-Ghazali Rahimahullaah Ghibah 📌It was narrated from Abu Hurayrahرضي الله عنه  that the Messenger  of Allah ﷺ said: “Do you  know what gheebah (backbiting) is?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Saying something about your brother that he dislikes.” It was said, “What if what I say about my brother is true?” He said, “If what you say is true then you have backbitten about him, and if it is not true, then you have slandered him.” [Muslim] 📌It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ  passed by two graves and said, “They are being punished, but they are not being punished for anything that was difficult to avoid. One of them used to walk about spreading malicious gossip [nameemah], and the other used not to take precautions to avoid getting urine on himself when he urinated.” Then he called for a gre...

O Allah! I seek refuge in you from severe calamities, and from the grips of ill hope, and evil destiny, and from the taunting of the enemies. In the first portion of the Dua we are seeking protection from all types of severe difficulty and hardship. Hadrat Ibne Abbas رضي الله عنه  explains by means of an example that a big hardship is where a person has many children and no money. For example, he has twelve or fourteen children, and each one has different need simultaneously. In the morning each one of them have a need to have breakfast, and he has nothing to give them, as he is poor. Somehow he might manage to give them breakfast, and before he knows, it is time for lunch, and he has to look ...
