 FAJR REMINDER: SPEAK TO HER WALĪ FIRST By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 28, 1447 (16-May-2026) After the Prophet (ﷺ) accepted Sawdah Bint Zam’ah Ibn Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) to be his wife, Khawlah Bint Ḥakīm (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) spoke to Sawdah’s father, Zam’ah, on behalf of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ). In this, there is a profound lesson for us all. Nowadays, when a man and a woman intend to marry, people around them often know about the relationship before the parents do. This is completely contrary to the proper Islāmic manner. When a man desires to marry a woman, the first person he should approach is her Walī (father or male guardian), because the marriage cannot proceed without his approval. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Mutaffifin.  Verses 29–36. Mockery in This World and Justice in the Next. These verses describe a striking reversal of fortunes between the wicked and the believers. In this life, the evildoers openly mocked and ridiculed the faithful — laughing at them, exchanging contemptuous glances as they passed, then going home to boast about it, dismissing the believers as misguided fools. Yet they had no authority over them and no right to judge. On the Day of Judgement, the tables are completely turned: it is the believers who will be at ease, reclining on noble couches, while the disbelievers face their reckoning receiving in full exactly what their deeds earned them.  *SILENT PUNISHMENT OF SIN* Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:   “Among their hidden punishments is: being deprived of the sweetness of intimate supplication and the delight of worship.” ... So do not leave the door of Allah, and do not abandon du‘ā’; for hearts only come to life through nearness to Him, Glorified be He. Morning and evening Adhkar   Do not leave your fortress, and increase in the remembrance of Allah. --- قال ابن الجوزي رحمه الله: "ومِن خَفِيِّ عقوباتِهم: سَلْبُ حلاوةِ المناجاة ولذَّةِ التعبُّد". فلا تبرح بابَ الله، ولا تتركِ الدعاء؛ فإنَّ القلوبَ لا تحيا إلا بالقربِ منه سبحانه.   لا تتركْ حِصنَك، وأكثرْ من ذكرِ الله.  Days in DhulHijah [[-5th Outing-]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم A huge golden chance is almost here. The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah start very soon. This is one of the biggest opportunities of the whole year. Why are these days so special? Allah (swt) speaks about them in the Quran. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said they are the best days for good deeds. These ten days are like a gift wrapped in huge rewards. Think about Ramadan. Maybe you feel you didn't do your best.  FAJR REMINDER: CLOTHING OF THE PEOPLE OF HELL By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 26, 1447 (14-May-2026) The people of Paradise shall be honoured with the finest and most luxurious garments. Among their blessings will be elegant clothing made of fine silk and adorned with gold embroidery, along with bracelets of gold, silver, and pearls. Their clothing will be beautiful, colourful, and far beyond anything known in this worldly life. Allāh (ﷻ) says: “...Therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent Murtafaqah (dwelling, resting place, etc.)!” [Sūrah Al-Kahf (18): 31] In contrast, the people of Hell will be clothed in garments specially prepared from fire itself.  Days in DhulHijah [[-4th Outing-]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Dear servant of Allah, listen carefully. The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are almost here. Just like the last ten nights of Ramadan, these ten days are packed with blessings. Crammed with rewards! We cannot, we must not, miss out on a single one. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Mutaffifin.  Verses 18–21 — THE RECORD OF THE RIGHTEOUS; كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ 18. Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ‘Illiyyūn. 19. And what can make you know what ‘Illiyyūn is? 20. A written record 21. Witnessed by those brought near [to ALLAH].
