*RAISED BLIND ON QIYAMAH*

*Who are they?*

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Taha

*وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى*

_But whosoever turns away from My Reminder_

This means, "Whoever opposes my command and what I have revealed to My Messenger, then he has turned away from it, neglected it and taken his guidance from other sources."

*فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكاً*

_Verily, for him is a life of hardship,_

Meaning, his life will be hard in this world. He will have no tranquillity and no ease. 

*وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيـمَةِ أَعْمَى*

_and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection._

Ikrimah said: _"He will be made blind to everything except Hell.''_

 *قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرۡتَنِیۤ أَعۡمَىٰ وَقَدۡ كُنتُ بَصِیرࣰا*

_He will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?"_

This means in the life of this world.

*قَالَ كَذَلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَـتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا وَكَذلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنْسَى*

_Allah will say: "Like this Our Ayat came unto you, but you disregarded them, and so this Day, you will be neglected._

Meaning, "When you turned away from the signs of Allah and dealt with them in the manner of one who does not remember them after they were conveyed to you. You neglected them, turned away from them and were heedless of them. Therefore, today We will treat you in the manner of one who has forgotten you.''

[20:124-126]

How many people will be raised blind on Qiyamah? 

_

Reflect, which islamic ruling have you turned away from because of the Dunya?

_

Did I carry on in a haram relationship after I knew it was Haram?

_

Did I still not pray my Salah?

_

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Zukhruf.

*وَنَادَوۡاْ يَٰمَٰلِكُ لِيَقۡضِ عَلَيۡنَا رَبُّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّٰكِثُونَ*

_They will cry, ‘Malik, if only your Lord would finish us off,’ but he will answer, ‘No! You are here to stay.’_

[43:77]

Meaning, Let Him destroy our souls and give us respite. 

Allah ﷻ no longer answers them so they appeal to Maalik.

He too will turn away from them.

_

Ya Ibn Adam! This is what it means to be forgotten on Qiyamah.

_

May Allah ﷻ save us from such a disastrous calamity.
