Importance of Dua on Friday.
Alhamdulillah, As we know Friday is a great day in islam and there is an hour on friday in which one makes dua to Allah is never rejected.
As reported in the authentic hadith of the messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam saying,
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Salam said:
“I said, when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was sitting: ‘We find in the Book of Allah that on Friday there is an hour when no believing slave performs prayer and asksAllah for anything at that time, but Allah will fulfill his need.’” ‘Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pointed to me, saying: ‘Or some part of an hour.’ I said: ‘you are right, or some part of an hour.’ I said: ‘What time is that?’ He said: ‘It is the last hours of the day.’ I said: ‘It is not the time of the prayer?’ He said: ‘Yes (it is so), when a believing slave performs prayer and then sits with nothing but the prayer keeping him, he is still in a state of prayer.’”
Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1139.
Sunan ibn Majah.
So lets increase in supplications alot on this day maybe we might be among those whom Allah may accepts their dua'a on this day.
Before making dua, lets spend halal and purify our earnings, praising Allah as he deserved to be praised and sending salutations to Rasulullah Salla Allahu alayhi wasalam.
Then after that put our needs in the sight of Allah.
As reported in the Hadith,
Narrated Fudalah ibn Ubayd,::
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a person supplicating during prayer. He did not mention the greatness of Allah, nor did he invoke blessings on the Prophet (ﷺ). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: He made haste. He then called him and said either to him or to any other person: If any of you prays, he should mention the exaltation of his Lord in the beginning and praise Him; he should then invoke blessings on the Prophet (ﷺ); thereafter he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes.
Sunan Abi Dawud 1481.
So we need to praise Allah alot and send salutations to Rasulullaah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam when making dua'a.
May Allah safeguards our eeman and protects us from any evil of the day and night and make us die upon the religion of Islam. Aamin
